Don’t Cause Others to Stumble
by Demanding Strict Rules and Ordinances
“6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. 7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread. 8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread? 9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? 11 How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? 12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees,” Matthew 16:6-12.
“Once there was a people who honored Me with their lips and yet their heart was far from Me.
They proclaimed of great things in the temple and they sang their songs commemorating the deeds that I had done in the past.
Throughout the centuries there have been many who have carried these traditions, and yet some have tied burdens around the necks of others to follow the traditions of man.
There are still some of you who have carried out these same things as you put a yoke upon others.
You commemorate certain feasts and you proclaim My Name, and put others down for calling Me LORD and Savior. What kind of foolishness is this?
Do you know Me or not, or do you just pretend to follow Me by following after your traditions?
Don’t cause others to stumble by demanding a strict observance of certain rules and ordinances.
Have I not set you free?
Have I not taken the yoke off of your necks?
Blessed are those who follow after me in purity without reservation, but woe unto those who have tied demands upon the necks of others.
Are you any different from the Pharisees? A little leaven leavens the whole lump, and yet you have used the whole jar!”

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
Absolutely right. Thank you.
