Do “IT” Again!
I heard The LORD say, “It is Harvest time daughter!
Go fishing for your catch. I will send you to waters filled with hungry fish looking and waiting for food. Your nets will fill to overflow when you cast them in the chosen waters.” (Redirection)
“And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret, and saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets. And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.” Luke 5:1-3.
“My disciples toiled all night and caught nothing. I told them to recast their nets –– and they thought it was useless.
Hard work did not make them tired. My children became tired because of “disappoint” — not their labor!”
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:7-9.
“Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.” Luke 5:4-6.
“The fishermen (farmers) depended on their skill and know how. They did everything right, knowing when the fish spun, their feeding time, and temperature of the water. All their calculations were right, yet they caught no fish.
I gave the instruction, but they doubted in their flesh. I caught them at a point where they were too tired to fight, so they surrendered.
Children, I AM telling you to move at My Word!
Simon spoke for the crowd –– to remind Me of their effortless efforts but said, “Nevertheless at Your Word I will do it again!” At this point, the proper surrender came forth.”
“And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink. When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken.” Luke 5:7-9.
“I have been wearing My people out so they will say, “Not My will but Thy will be done”. Oh such joy children when you do things My way.”
“And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men. And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.” Luke 5:10-11
“I AM sending waves of healing to the right stream. “Do it again” — things that are most difficult and challenging.”
Note : A farmer thinks about harvest time as an opportunity to explore his/her labor. Work efforts include finding the right spot to plant, testing and soil development, planting, and nurturing good seeds.
I do not think the main goal of farming is exercise. Every person working in fields expect harvest to yield abundant crops. Some farmers choose crops specific to their region and others take chances on new crops.
Today, I believe The LORD is telling His people to take a chance on new crops. This message states the new crop is the same as the old crop with a twist.
Instead of waiting in the field, He is saying go to the water.
“Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days.” Ecclesiastes 11:1.
Farm challenges happen when moving from cattle to sheep, soybeans to corn or cotton, or from grapes to apples.
Heavenly Father understands the reasoning for not wanting to switch from old routines. The LORD is not telling us to stop farming; instead, He is showing us another way to receive the harvest.
The LORD is telling us to go to the troubled spots and release our faith.
It is comfortable setting behind a desk writing messages and with a click — they are visible worldwide.
As I sit writing this Message, I think about the many people who will never have opportunity to know what I am saying.
I thank God for the many people who can read these messages but my heart goes to those who cannot.
- People in prison
- Homeless persons
- Mentally ill people
- People who cannot read, see, or hear
- People impoverished by sin
- People in nursing homes
- Foster Children
- People who have never heard the Gospel
“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?” Isaiah 58:6-7.
Who thinks about a ministry for the blind? They may not be able to see but they can hear.
Who thinks about a ministry of teaching people to read, write, and understand God’s word? (Acts 8:26-29)
A person covered in tattoos still needs the Gospel. (1 Samuel 16:7)
A prostitute needs the Gospel of Christ. (John 4:1-42)
The LORD is not asking us to create other methods to accomplish goals. He is simply asking for the renewal of our faith, hope, and trust in His word, will, and promises.
Many of us have failed adventures and it will take too long to give examples of various situations.
Regardless of what did not work before The LORD is saying, “At My word do it again”!
Where is The LORD redirecting your farming?
“Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of The LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for The LORD will be with you. And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before The LORD, worshipping The LORD. And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise The LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high. And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in The LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” 2 Chronicles 20:17-20.
Peace Out,
The Blessing of The LORD Be upon You,
Blessings,

This hit home because I work in a prison.
Dear Steve,
I pray for your safety and protection while doing your job.
I know you see the need for love.
Let your light so shine and God will use you without saying a word.
Love you
Hallelujah, amen. Such a confirmation of a word and that scripture from Isaiah 58 and 2nd Chronicles 20. Glory to God. I had hospitals, prisons and the nations in mind. Thank God for pointing out other specific ‘groups’ of people. We thank God for the word and you His servant.
Karlene,
Continue to fight the good fight of faith.
Soon you will hear well done thy God and faithful servant.
I am praying for you.
Love you
Whoa… love this word! I’m a farmer, and you are exactly right!!! Great post, so glad I am blessed enough to be able to find and read it. :)
Praise Jesus Gwen. I am a mini farmer planting in pots. Every day I go to the fields to see what is blooming.
The Lord is blessing us in places we failed to look.
When we minister to women on the streets, who have the nature of the woman at the well in John 4 – we are planting seeds.
God is telling us to go fishing with His love and we shall truly have an abundant harvest.
Yes Amen and AMEN
Wong, I pray you have an abundant harvest because you are fishing where Jesus is leading you. Yes indeed.
GOD Bless You, Amen
Sherry line up for the harvest.
Hard is not hard when Jesus shows you the way. Yes indeed and yes Lord.
No matter how things seem, launch out in the deep.
Jonah did not have rain coat nor booths inside the great fish.
Nevertheless, at God’s word the fish opened his mouth and released Jonah. He did not drown.
Go get your harvest!
