Disorder in America and A Lack of Respect for GOD
The LORD showed me a dream where I was bitten by this insect, and I felt the sting as it bit me.
I looked at my arm and I saw little black dots on my arm. I felt when I was in the dream it was a spider bite, but the color or the type of spider was unknown. But one thing for sure I worried it would become infected.
The LORD said the arm is symbolic for Christ, the work affected, arms tied; infected, the LORD’s strength of influence in the time of troubles, as well as the judgment of God against the weakness of man concerning his lack of faith.
I asked the LORD what this insect meant in the dream and He said it is a deadly contamination of idolatry!
He said to me that many people are bitten by insects (spider) and rarely recognize it is a deadly insect bite, until it is way too late!
The LORD said that Some will even go so far as to try to self-medicate or to treat the bite themselves and find themselves loosing a limb. And, that is how the spirit of idolatry is in our own personal lives (nation).
it is a deadly venomous bite that can spread to and through out the nations as well as the body of Christ, if we are not careful in giving God true worship and praise.
It is a infection (bite) that has to be dealt with and stopped before it continues to travel through out the blood stream of the body.
He said that is how temptation is; it does not just lore you into sin but it works on other parts of the members of the body to infect it as well.
You see to be bitten by this spider means to fall to temptation. It means to become entrapped, entangled by its web of lies and deception.
This bite is a stronghold for all that will fall prey to it’s temptation. It is like strong drink that creeps up upon you, a web of lies, and cast spells; before you know it you have become overwhelmed with drunkenness.
The LORD said, “They hatch cockatrice** eggs, and weave the spider’s web. He that eateth of their eggs dieth, and that which is crushed breaketh out into a viper.
Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.” (Isaiah 59: 5-6).
For, the LORD our God is a jealous God. “And, you shall worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God,” Exodus 34:14.
In this season, the LORD is dealing with spirits of idolatry!
For, many individuals, regions, cities and nations are beginning to worship idols. Idols are impotent blocks of stone or wood, (other things you love and place before God!) and their power exists only in the minds of the worshipers.
You see, the idol of the god Dagon was twice knocked to the floor by God to show the Philistines just who was the true and living God and who wasn’t (1 Samuel 5:1-5).
The “contest” between God and His prophet Elijah and the 450 prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel is a dramatic example of the power of the true God and the impotence of false gods, (1 Kings 18:19-40).
According to Webster ©, idolatry is “the worship of idols or an excessive devotion to, or reverence for some person or thing than usual, and an idol is anything that replaces the one, true God.”
In fact, God uses Hosea, saying, “Go, take to yourself a wife of whoredom and have children of whoredom.’”
Hosea obeyed, marrying a woman named Gomer, who was unfaithful to him.
Why did God tell Hosea to marry a prostitute? He wanted to show the greatness of His grace: “Even as the LORD loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods.”
Hosea’s faithful love of Gomer was an illustration of God’s faithfulness to wayward Israel. Just as Gomer had been unfaithful to her husband and had to be redeemed, Israel needed God’s initiative to restore their relationship.
So, God used the imagery of adultery (a cheating unfaithful heart that is in love with the little god’s) to describe Israel’s continual chasing after other gods, like an unfaithful wife chases after other men.
God is using many prophets in this season to cry against Babylon who will not be afraid to stand up against those caught up in idolatry.
They will not be afraid to stand up to prophesy dire consequences for those like Israel who continued in their idolatrous ways, and caused others to fall into a web of deception and lies to believe in god’s that could not talk, heal, deliver or set the people free from this deadly bite of venom!
Mostly, many ignored the warning until it was too late and God’s wrath against idol-worship was poured out on the nation.
God even had the Prophet Ezekiel to cry against these lifeless, dead shrines yet many choose to continue worshipping them rather than the creator.
He said, “Son of man, now turn and face the mountains of Israel and preach against them: ‘O Mountains of Israel, listen to the Message of God, the Master. God, the Master, speaks to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and the valleys: I’m about to destroy your sacred god and goddess shrines.
I’ll level your altars, bust up your sun-god pillars, and kill your people as they bow down to your no-god idols. I’ll stack the dead bodies of Israelites in front of your idols and then scatter your bones around your shrines.
Every place where you’ve lived, the towns will be torn down and the pagan shrines demolished — altars busted up, idols smashed, all your custom-made sun-god pillars in ruins. Corpses everywhere you look! Then you’ll know that I am God,” (Ezekiel 6:1-7 MSG).
Idol worship robs God of the glory that is rightfully His, and that is something He will not tolerate (Isaiah 42:8).
In fact, God was so angry with the people for giving their hearts to these other God’s that he threatened to cut off their food and other resources if they did not repent and return unto him.
God told Ezekiel, “The people will live on starvation rations, worrying where the next meal’s coming from, scrounging for the next drink of water.
Famine conditions. People will look at one another, see nothing but skin and bones, and shake their heads. And, they will know that this is what sin does,” (Ezekiel 4:16-17).
America, you are the land of the free and the home of the brave, but God is a jealous God and He will have no other god before Him!
Many have failed to see that just because they do not bow physically before a statue, idolatry is a matter of the heart — pride, self-centeredness, greed, gluttony, a love for possessions and ultimately rebellion against God. Is it any wonder that God hates it.
In this season, we bind every spirit of idolatry and loose the minds of the people in cities, regions, localities to worship the true and living God!
And, we come against everything that would come against the imaginations of the people, we pull down principalities and rulers of darkness in the high and the low places that have taken the people hostage and we command Satan to loose his grips off the minds of the people in this season so that they are free to worship and to serve the true and living God!
God is a Merciful God, and He has never failed to forgive and restore those that come to him when they repented and seek His forgiveness!
