Did I Not Send the Ravens to Elijah?
“Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”
So he went and did according to the word of the Lord, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and bread and meat in the evening; and he drank from the brook” 1 Kings 17:2-6 NKJV (emphasis added).
“My child, I can and will use the worldly ones to bless and provide for My people. Did I not send the ravens to Elijah with bread and meat twice a day? The raven is an unclean bird, but I used him to sustain the prophet during the times of drought and famine.
Do not try to guess how I will accomplish My exploits, just be ready to obey when I call. My ways are not your ways and I do not conform Myself to win human approval. Obedience is preferred to ceremonial sacrifices or the traditions of men. I am able to subdue all things to accomplish My will.
I AM GOD. I will work My plan of salvation in such a way that the evil one will be trapped in the snare of his own making. I will plunder his camp and cause great provisions to be handed over to My loyal ones . I will make the ravens (not the doves) do My bidding to supply the needs of My House, My Church. When you see this happening rejoice for it will mean that harvest time and the ingathering has begun.
Keep all these words in your heart as you enter this new year. The tumult and confusion that lies ahead is not what you are to focus on. Look for My hand and you will see Me using these evil orchestrated crises to promote and provide for My people. The lost and abused ones will be drawn to the Light that will shine from the faces of My Light-bearers. These are the ones who will liberate those bound in chains and will bind the strong man. They shall plunder his kingdom and bring many into the Father’s House.
When a raven comes to you with provision, ask Me if I sent him. I will give you discernment and you will know the good from the evil. Do not allow man’s traditions to keep you from the bounty I send your way.
I release My grace to you to walk in discerning of spirits so you can be about My business in the natural and spirit realms. It is a good day to rejoice for My favor is with you. Shalom.”
“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” Philippians 4:19 NKJV.
