Decades ago, I heard The LORD say three times, “Desperation! Where is your desperation for Me? For Revival?

For My Holy Spirit to inhabit your meetings, to move in your meetings, to demonstrate My Power and Glory!”

As The LORD spoke, I got a brief vision of Satan, as in Job, who come into The LORD’s presence, strolling around, whistling contentedly, almost smugly.

I hear The LORD ask him, “What are you doing here?“

I watch him turn to The LORD, “Things are easy down there. No-one is really that desperate for You any longer. I have them! They’re almost mine!” and he smiled — Satan smiled!

The vision faded and I hear The LORD once again asking, “Desperation! Where is your desperation?

Why are you not desperate to see Me move among you?

Until you begin to get desperate for me, very little will happen!

Until you get desperate for me, there will be no real Revival.

Where is the desperation of William Seymour, of Evan Roberts, of Christine and Peggy smith, of Wigglesworth, of Graham, and of Bonnke?

Where are those totally sold out for My Kingdom and My cause?” cried The LORD.

“Where are the anguished nights of Prayer? The crying out for Mercy? The Repentance — and the weeping before My Throne?”

There is no Desperation!” says The LORD.

“When My People get desperate — as they did in Wales — as they did in America — and as they did in the Hebrides — then.” says The LORD, “I will bring that for which My People are desperate.

I will bring Revival.

I will bring My Presence — The Glory Cloud — into your meetings.

I will bring signs and wonders in power!” promises our God!

“Show M e your desperation, and I will show you My Presence and My Power!” says The LORD!

And yet . . . this weekend in Burton-upon-Trent in England, we saw that Desperation!

We heard that heart-cry to The LORD — and we heard His wonderful response as His Presence filled the room and the incense of His Love filled His tabernacle once more.

It may well be a rough ride coming, but it’s going to be glorious!

Hang on! Stand and stay standing! The King is coming!
