I wasn’t seeking to write anything; I had no plan to do so.

It’s one thing to talk about having an ear; it’s another to follow what you hear. There’s no doubt, the time is urgent; the call to be alert, must be heeded and on time.

The man writing said it this way; “My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom,” (1 Corinthians 2:4).

The term ‘enticing words’ was used more than once. It was relevant then and became more so in short years gone past. Those words are past for now.

We must ask ourselves a very hard question at this very time.

How many Gifts of the Spirit have you seen operated in your lifetime, and how many have you seen operating in recent times?

There has been a lot of substituting, look-a-likes and partial appearances. We have a huge group of those among present day believers, who have seen the real thing.

They experienced the real depth of all of these things; they were meant to see that. They will never forget how it felt; what happened to their spirit and how it changed them.

It might be hard for some to realize or agree, that God has allowed a lot of things to take place in what has been called ‘Church”.

I won’t quote it, but there is verse to back up something you’ve not heard much about. He will allow the fake, the almost, the want to be, to be presented, so that when the real thing truly emerges, everyone will know who is approved.

There is no comparison whatsoever to the genuine move of the Holy Ghost. The unparalleled unction that impresses the entire being of a person; the greatest of supernatural processes. The interaction that cannot be described; it’s only felt.

If the Gifts of the Spirit were suppressed in many places, and they were, what happened to those who had these gifts?

We were told to desire spiritual gifts; and we did. Many of us got them. Many of us; not just a few. I wonder how many times The Spirit was grieved over this; what He wanted to do, and somebody else decided no.

I must tell just how much I need the gifts of healing in my life, right now. You’re terribly sick; body, mind and spirit. You’ve searched every last avenue of your life you can; you’ve sought God and you’ve wrung out tears until there are no more. And yet, you’re not healed…..

All of the gifts of healing are in the Church; God put them there. They are there somewhere….

Everything that was needed for The Body of Christ to be full and healthy, was placed in it.

As of this moment, I am moved to say, forget what has happened, or who we think were or are responsible for the lack of full Power. The call is this. You who have those gifts; what are you going to do with them now?

Paul said, “but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,” (1 Corinthians 2:4).

I don’t believe I can any longer claim something, I can’t demonstrate. The demonstration of the Spirit, has the Power that goes with it.

Normal venues we once hoped to operate these things in, are now shuttered. The forces of darkness intend to keep it that way.

And it appears, he has plenty of help to assure just that. But so what? Does the work the Spirit yet wants to do, close down, because we can’t have the crowds and facilities we once did!

Oh my, what we could have done in those places. Many Works of God were done and we thanked Him daily for what we did see; how great it was. But did the time come when we saw less; when we knew there was even more?

I saw a video of a man who was in the middle of a mall. He just started singing; loudly. His group began to join him and they just began to sing at the top of their lungs.

The people, loved it. I’m about there…. In the midst of all this turmoil, this fear and anger, I can’t take it much anymore.

I have this sneaky vision of The Holy Ghost falling on me right in the grocery store, and as I begin to yield to that, it begins to fall on others also.

Have we reached the time when we can now say as those who said then, “Silver and gold have I none — but in the name of Jesus Christ, ‘Rise up and walk’.”?

See, here’s where you lose a lot of folks.

Oh, that sounds good. He’s really getting worked up. I’ve been too sick and knocked down to get too worked up about anything. I’ve needed for someone with the gifts of healing to find me; to minister to me what the Spirit gifted them with.

Where are you?

We say we can discern in the Spirit. Can He not nudge us or impress upon us, that someone who is standing right in front of us, right beside us… needs what we have?

You couldn’t use it before; use it now! His approval is all you need.

“And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,” 1 Corinthians 2:4.
