Delusional Psychosis can become demonic when we disobey God!

According to Webster’s Dictionary, to be delusional means to be in denial!

“It is to be persistently false, and to have a psychotic belief regarding ones self or persons or the events taking place in ones life. It is also a false belief held despite strong evidence against it; self-deception. Delusions are common in some forms of psychosis.”

As we all know, King Saul had some serious issues when it came to reality of what was right and wrong in the eyes of the LORD!

He thought he was being obedient to God, when in all actuality he was not. He even blamed the people for causing him to disobey God, when God had given him the order (the commandments) to go and to utterly destroy the Amalekites.

He not only played the blame game, but he allowed the people to take the things he was to destroy and to offer them back to God as a sacrifice! (1 Samuel 15: 21).

Isn’t it ironic how Satan can place blinders on our eyes when we disobey the LORD?

He can have one so blind, that one actually can be raising up the very things that God has told us to destroy!

Saul did not have the mind or the heart of the Father! He did things the way he wanted to do them and then he tried to justify his wrongs by placing the blame on others.

He even went so far as to say he was trying to save that which was good.

In fact, he said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed,” (1 Samuel 15:15).

I believe the LORD is saying to his people in this season that there is absolutely no excuse for His People walking after the flesh in this season; especially when we willfully and deliberately sin!

Saul’s consciences had been so seared with a hot iron that he could not discern between that which was right from that which was wrong.

In fact, It took God sending the Prophet Samuel down to him in order to jog his conscious regarding the commandments of the LORD and what his responsibilities were as the King!

The LORD is speaking in this season, and so many have allowed the enemy to cause them to raise up in their ministries, families (government) and lives, what God has commanded them to destroy!

God sent Saul to kill out the Amalekites for what they had done to Israel, because they had become an enemy to God, but instead, he kept the Agag the King alive!

How sad it is that a King sent by God, wanted to befriend God’s enemies!

The LORD revealed to me that those whom he has sent and anointed to be Kings, Queens and priests in the LORD, how is it you have allowed the things of this world to become gods in your life; things He has caused us to kill and destroy, you have begun to rebuild?

All because you want to please man rather than God!

Saul loved the people and his self so much that he failed to carry out God’s law and he began to do his own thing!

He was so delusional that he even told the Prophet Samuel that he had obeyed the voice of God.

But Samuel said, “What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?” (1 Samuel 15:14 KJV),

Delusion or no delusion it is a dangerous thing to defy God and to reject his commandments, as well as a direct order from God!

Disregarding a direct order from God, deciding to spare the life of King Agag along with some of the choice livestock caused Saul to cover up his transgression by lying to Samuel and, in essence, lying to God, (1 Samuel 15).

Sauls disobedience was the last straw, as God would withdraw His Spirit from Saul leaving him to become uncovered and unprotected to the enemy and other demonic forces! (1 Samuel 16:14).
