Deliverance and Submission
I’m sitting here with tears in my eyes not tears of sorrow but of gratitude and humbleness because I realized just how much God loves me.
This past month, I have encountered some things that were suppose to hurt and destroy me, but in actuality they brought me to a new strength, a new place in God, and a new outlook concerning ministry and people.
Then, sitting here the Spirit of The Lord spoke and said,
“Sometimes my daughter, you can continue to sow seeds into your own destruction by pouring into persons who only came for the blessings and not the impartations or revelations!
There are those who only connect because of excitement and not assignment. Those who will endure, those who are pursuing the knowledge and wisdom, are those whom I have sent.
Those who only see your gifts and not your mandate, won’t be able to stay in the atmosphere of the purpose of the ministry.”
Because God has ordained and anointed me to walk in deliverance, it is really heavy when people connect and enter the atmosphere of that anointing, for whatever is in them, will manifest so that they can be completely set free and made whole. This sometimes disturbs people, because most of them have only encountered people who looked over, or couldn’t see, where they truly were, in their spiritual lives.
I don’t apologize for my mission, neither for my mandate. Do I make people angry and upset with me? YES! Many times, because I don’t viciously attack them about their issues, they think I don’t see them and they are hidden.
I wait on God, because I’m not trying to lose souls, but gain them for the Kingdom. He gives me the strategy on how to approach people about their issues, without running them away, or hindering their deliverance. Am I 100% successful all the time? NO, because people yet have a free will and need to contribute to their deliverance.
Can I call the devil out and they leave? Of course, but if I have not first conquered the imprisoned mindset that stops them understanding that they can be free of things that have held them captive for years, then I will only see temporary results, because they will get entangled in the yoke of bondage again.
I have seen people get delivered and remain completely free, as the word is explain and understanding comes into their mind. Getting the word of God into a person is a top priority for them to get free and to stay free. Understanding the how, why, when and what, that took place to get them locked in the bondage, is also important in getting them delivered.
Most people cast out devils, but never get to the root of what cause the entrapment of bondage.
I love the work God has called me to, and NO, I don’t have a traditional church. It’s a learning healing and deliverance center. It’s a place to get you to your destiny.
Does everybody understand me? OF COURSE NOT, because I don’t operate like a traditional Pastor. I believe in allowing the ministries within to go forth, and training the people to be attached to God, more than me. Teaching them to form a relationship with God and learning to hear Him for themselves.
I won’t let ANYBODY make me an idol or their god. I love the people of God and I am determined to see them get in their position in the Kingdom.
God is doing great things in this hour. People, stay righteous, walk holy, maintain your integrity and character, love God with every fiber of your being, and allow Him to use you; not to make you great and grand, but that souls can be won to the Kingdom of God.
At the end of all of it, DON’T LET YOUR LABOR BE IN VAIN.
~ Apostle Barbara R. Thomas
Greetings Apostle Thomas, praise unto the Lord from whom all blessings flow. Your message spoke directly to me and some of what you’ve shared is what I go through with people. There are times when I have gotten in “hot water” because when I share the truth that will set them free, they become offended. I don’t minister to them with a brimstone and fire form of counsel, but just giving to them what the Lord has given to me. Basically, it’s because people want to stay in a comfort zone.or operate by their emotions. Some people do not want to take responsibility for their lives and prefer to blame or make excuses. I do direct them to the Word of God and I ask the Lord to give me wisdom so that I am not speaking out of myself, but by the leading of Holy Spirit. I have to re-read your message again, but like I said it speaks directly to me and to the ministry the Lord has given me. May the Lord continue to bless you. In Jesus, Rosalyn
Wow, I needed to read this! Thank you, Mrs. Thomas!
This very much spoke to me. Thank you for your obedience
