Deliberate Flooding in Texas?
Those who know me know when something gets my attention, I seek God about what it is about the situation that bothers my spirit.
As I was sitting with the women of God [at the weekend] I said to them, it’s going to come out, that some of this flooding [in Houston, Texas] is done intentionally.
The waters from the rain were directed into certain areas to cause destruction on purpose.
Watch, it’s mostly apartment complexes, or a certain lower economic level of people, which are getting hit hard.
The Spirit of The LORD said, look beyond the surface in these last days. Things are not always what they seem to be.
I’m in prayer for those experiencing these unusual floods.
Stop placing man-made burdens on them!
Sometimes people in these denominational churches feel like they are the only ones going to heaven.
Listen, your church doctrines of works are not what are going to get you a, “Well done My good and faithful servant.”
You wear that long skirt, but are mean and hateful. You have on that three piece suit, but you the biggest whore-monger in town.
Looking the part, is not the same as living holy. You are full of religious pride, critiquing everybody else in the Kingdom of God – wanting everybody to look and act like you.
The Word told me to dress modest, not raggedy and homey. The attributes of the Holy Ghost don’t include any makeup, any jewelry, any nice presentable hair style. God didn’t tell you that you had to be broke, busted, disgusted, hungry, poor and homeless to be holy.
Who told you that God didn’t want His people blessed? Where we get all this at that we are going to hell if we have nice things and money?
Read the scripture, 1 Timothy 6:10. The love of money is the root of all evil. Money itself is not evil. People make me go into full rebuke, get-yourself-somewhere-and-sit-down mode on them, with all these man-made rules about holiness, when holiness and righteousness is a lifestyle.
People can’t even come to the altar and be delivered, before we are telling them about their clothes and what to wear the next Sunday. Then we wonder why they never come back to church!
There is going to be more blood on our hands about killing people with our self righteous doctrines, than anything else.
When I got saved, nobody had to tell me what to do that was appropriate in the House of God. The Word and the conviction of the Holy Ghost changed me on the inside, which I was able to demonstrate on the outside, in my character and dress and talk.
Be assured, that God won’t leave you ignorant or on error about His plans for your life.
Some people are required to walk in a greater dimension of consecration, because of the mandate on their life, but we can’t judge somebody else’s walk with the walk we are required to walk in.
Give the people love and the Word, and let them get filled with the Holy Ghost please and stop putting burdens on them!
~ Apostle Barbara R. Thomas
