God stopped me in my tracks today with some serious conviction!

We must understand the severity of our condition as Christians!

We fall down and it takes us weeks, months, and years to find our way back; or never. Why?

When we as good soldiers get stirred up and fight, we run into battle full throttle! Then to our dismay we get hit and we sit!

We thought we were invincible and we wouldn’t have to face a real enemy! Why?

Because we believed the lie, that once you’re a Christian the battles are over!

The lie has said, that once you’re a Christian there is no more war or battles! YES, Jesus did win our grace and He did WIN our eternal security in heaven!

This is not what I am referring to! I am saying that the believer in this life will have troubles, battles, and war!

Why have we settled again into complacency and apathy when so many people need God?

I can predict that the majority of those who read this, will have many family members estranged and lost. What are we doing about it?

Why aren’t we seriously pleading for their salvation?

Why Christian’s, do we sit on our blessed assurance and hide in our Christian clubs called Church and fail to realize that even in our own personal lives we have war?

We want everything to be easy, but it isn’t! It takes death to self, it takes fasting and prayer, and a lot of it!

Do we really love them and are our family members worth it?

Are we at work in our “ministry” for others when we haven’t got victory in our own lives?

Beloved, I am so convicted and convinced that we have a work to do but it must first start with us and our home!

How in the world can we conquer the enemy in our government if we cannot first win the battle with me, myself, and I?

That is so true for many! They border on the edge of getting a little break through, just enough that will give them a spiritual B-12 shot for the short duration that it lasts!

Then their next attack comes and they cannot figure out what to do! They can realize they are helpless as they grope about in the dark because they are blind, deaf and dumb!

They are spinning from the driving winds. So much of the world blasts on every side and we fail to see that we are driven by the demonic winds!

So sadly, many start out fine, but when they get hit by the enemy, they get disillusioned and they sit, sit, and sit!

God chose us for a higher purpose than just get saved and sit. God wants you to be a positive influence in this life!

So many people don’t have God, they don’t have the peace and the love that only the LORD can give.

In the majority of the church in America, we are fat, sassy, lazy, complacent and apathetic!

Instead of going from glory to glory, we go from crisis to crisis and we live on that edge, wanting to be comforted to continue on our path, when the choice of our path is what is wrong with us!

We live so beneath the promises Jesus died for and has kept for us! They are exceeding precious promises beloved!

We have a purpose, a calling! We have a job to do in this life, but to see this happen we must come close to God, through fasting, weeping and mourning, rending our heart and not our garment.

God has called us first, to a life set apart for Him. His desire is towards us in relationship, but sadly we only come when we get into trouble, and we live an empty life instead of a vibrant life that is set apart to minister to our first Love!

Our life of prayer and life of holy sacrifice is where the rubber meets the road.

Why do we continue to be part of the world that pulls us away from the love of God?

The things of this world are constantly bombarding us with communication daily! For those of you who know me, you understand when I say that the first attack in warfare is our communication ports!

The devil has targeted what we hear, see, think, speak, feel, and we are being bombarded from every side!

The answer is the same for every believer! We must learn to press the world out and press into God! We must pull away from this world, love God and listen for His voice.

We need to get serious about hearing the LORD and begin to fast and pray to be restored.

Only then can the LORD use us to help others. It is like building a house on stilts, when the winds blow the house crashes.

We must get back to our foundation of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost!

When we build upon that real relationship we will properly grow and then we can be effective in helping others.

How can we take the land when we can’t even take care of our own family and what’s worse, our own spiritual condition?

This isn’t a decree or declaration I can say to you. God stopped me straight in my tracks and told me to go no further until we have repented!

It has to come from within you and for your great love of God, love for yourself, love for your lost family and then the world. Only in God’s order will you find lasting peace and assurance….

It is time to repent Church for our condition………………
