Darkness to Light
A Psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud
Darkness to Light
Oh LORD JESUS how I adore You
You increased my faith
As I learned to trust You completely
In my transformation through the storm
I left the old and stepped into the new
You forever touched my soul
You took out what was unneeded
And filled me with what You needed
How faithful You are
You showed me how much you loved me
Not just once or twice, but forever
Oh faithfully forever
Darkness to Light
Oh LORD JESUS was always by my side
Darkness to Light
Oh LORD JESUS pulled me through the storm
And now I stand on the other side victorious!
In my darkest hours when I was all by myself
When the pain was overwhelming
And I thought I couldn’t take one more step
You came to me in a dream
And even though I couldn’t see You,
I knew it was You
I felt You kiss me
And I began to slowly awaken
You gave me Your Promise
That I would overcome
Slowly and steadily in Your Strength
I took one step at a time across the waves
Darkness to Light
Oh LORD JESUS was always by my side
Darkness to Light
Oh LORD JESUS pulled me through the storm
And now I stand on the other side victorious!
I followed You to the other side
Oh I became victorious—
The storm behind me!
Oh LORD You increased my faith
You stretched and pressed me
You showed me who I was in You!
Oh LORD how I adore You
You increased my faith
As I learned to trust You completely
In my transformation through the storm
I left the old and stepped into the new
You forever touched my soul
Darkness to Light
Oh LORD JESUS was always by my side
Darkness to Light
Oh LORD JESUS pulled me through the storm
And now I stand on the other side victorious!
Oh LORD JESUS, I adore You!

The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!”
He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples.
