Dare to be different from the world!
Wait upon The Lord…
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint,” Isaiah 40:31 (KJV).
I love this verse, it speaks directly to my spirit to slow down, take a deep breath, and focus on the Lord.
Do you feel like your waiting for something? But its not….. A SOMETHING YOU SHOULD BE WAITING FOR…. IT’S A PERSON, WAITING ON THE LORD. This life can be absolutely exhausting if you are waiting on anything other than the Lord.
We need to focus on the One who has the plan, who knows the way, and how to get there…. because He already has the road-map to the destination in question.
If you will walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh your strength will be renewed continually. The verse says we will mount up with wings as eagles and run……. not weary, not faint. To MOUNT, IS TO ARISE, TO RECOVER, TO RESTORE…. IT’S A REJUVENATION, A CONTINUAL RENEWAL OF STRENGTH, IT’S LIKE A BUBBLING FOUNTAIN. Know why this works, because HE does not faint or grow weary like we do. He alone increases your strength.
To wait is a verb…… it speaks of action. To wait upon the Lord requires the right mind set and motive of your heart, and, the outcome is GUARANTEED.
So let’s enter into the His rest and experience His fullness of joy. Don’t wait, the time is now.
Dare to be different from the world
“And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another,” Ephesians 4:24-25 (KJV).
God hates lairs. Remember, Hebrews 4:13. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but ALL THINGS ARE NAKED AND OPENED UNTO THE EYES ON HIM WITH WHOM WE HAVE TO DO.
If you have told a lie, you may think you have gotten away with it, but God sees and knows all, and He knows the motives behind it. Nothing is hidden from his sight. You will be found out, and it may then be worse for you than if you told the truth in the first place.
So just be honest and truthful. Everything you do or say is a reflection of Christ, and we should worship Him him in spirit and truth.
Dare to be different from the world, lets be the beautiful creation we are meant to be so that He will be exalted.
