Courage, Dear Heart!
3 Words in 1
“Courage, dear heart!”
This quote by CS Lewis has become one of my absolute favorites as The LORD had spoke this to me at a time I needed it most.
Life can feel dark and scary at times. We may wonder where God is, as our nation, our world, even our lives personally is battered by one storm after another.
But God is “very near to the broken-hearted. He is just that one breath, just a whisper away, and He has not abandoned us.”
Even in the times of darkness and confusion, even when the storms of life cause us fear or pain, we can be sure there’s a gentle whisper from our King of Glory, somewhere in the background,
“Courage, dear heart!”
I keep coming back to this theme of courage.
Don’t forget in the darkness what you learned in the light.” For God’s light continues to shine, even in the deepest darkness you find yourself. You hold that head up and fiercely keep moving forward in strength.
“Be strong, and let your heart take courage,” says the psalmist.
“Do not be afraid,” said the angel Gabriel as he addressed Mary, “for nothing is impossible with God.” And right now hear that whisper of Jesus speaking to you, “Courage, dear heart.”
Courage is the quality of a warrior. You keep getting back up, you keep standing, you keep pressing in, you live and love fiercely, never give up nor will you back down in face of adversity.
There may be times you fall and lose that spark for just a moment, but make sure when you get back up, you rise up with the fire.
The King
The King sees you.
The King smiles on you.
Knowing that every blister on your feet was steps of faith knowing that He is good, He is faithful!
The King will not overlook those in the cinders,
The singed and the scarred.
You are the ones to carry His Glory, His Legacy.
The ones to advance the Kingdom.
You are destined,
You are beautiful,
And even when it felt like everything within you was dying.
You are still very much alive in the cinders!
Escape From the Prison!
“They that wait upon The LORD shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles.”
Prayer is your escape from the prison.
I am talking about prayer that Heaven cannot resist and hell cannot stand.
Prayers that breaks the grip of ancient strongholds of demons.
Prayers that shake the corridors of hell.
Prayer that will make the prodigal child weep and yet they are not sure why.
Prayers causing the walls to begin to crumble.
I can hear the sound of some cracking right now!Press in Mighty Child Of God!
Release those prayers calling forth His Holy Fire removing every fear, and releasing unshakable courage to tell a generation the unapologetic, undeniable, unstoppable power of God.
Release the battle cry! Eagles dare while the turkeys stare!
In a vision last night, The LORD began to show me a gathering of eagles by a huge flowing river. As I studied the eagle further, they do gather wherever the river flows. There is a gathering of those drinking from the river of life as he releases his pure words.
A pure flow!
Come and drink!
Where eagles gather, power is present. Where eagles gather, deep purposes are revealed. Where eagles gather, there is no self-pity and no more hiding.
They are Equipped, they are Ignited, they are Fitted for War!
