When we go through circumstances that are dark periods — times of troubles and distress — it’s so very easy to get our minds on what we’re going through, and it causes us to be down and even a bit weepy! (Go ahead! Admit it!)

It can cause us to be frightened and to worry, and even cause us to doubt God and His Word. We want to “feel “God, and it’s so nice when we can feel His presence with us!

However, there are those times when we’re going through a very heavy time in our life, when we don’t feel His presence! It feels like the doors to answered prayer are sealed shut when we pray.

The prophet Jeremiah wrote, “Lord, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps,” Jeremiah 10:23.

By a Divine revelation, Jeremiah understood that the path in life is exclusively directed by God when a person gives their life over to Him! By the power of the Holy Spirit, so can we.

This very moment in time that we are struggling with IS God’s path, and we are his people. That’s what he is waiting for us to grasp.

The truth is, God is in control whether we allow him to be or not. We do not make him Lord. He IS Lord. The moment we accept that truth, the very second we bend our hearts and knees to his power and might, we discover that our loving God is already blessing us, already taking us by the hand, already leading us.

The Lord says this to you and I today:

“I see the struggle that you’ve been facing and I see the helplessness that you are feeling. You are not helpless because I AM your Helper.

Circumstances around you that become critical are going to see a divine intervention by My hand. I have a precise plan to turn the hearts of those involved and to establish My purposes.

I will not allow the enemy to have the upper hand in your life or in the lives of those that you hold dear and love with all of your heart.

Continue to walk in love and give those around you the love and the limits that proceed from My heart and My mind that is communicated to you even now.

No matter how dark the night, I AM ready to respond appropriately to your need.”
