Contending — The Way Forward
I heard The LORD again speaking to me about Contending. This time, about when, where, and how.
The LORD is saying, “I see you Contending in your meetings, but I see nothing in your Prayer Closet.
I see you on your faces where everyone can see you, but I don’t see you on your face when you are in your room with the door closed.
I hear you crying out loudly in your hotel room, or in a semi-public place, but I hear little from your Inner Chamber.
I AM looking for those who will Contend wherever they find themselves, quietly, maybe silently, pleading with Me for the souls of men.
Not just their family, but for their colleagues, their Church, their enemies.
I want to hear from them who will wait upon me for every soul I bring before them — 24/7 Intercessors who will not stop, even in their bedrooms.
While I hear those who shout loudest, or prostrate themselves before me in public, yet I still seek those who give their all — all the time, even when the heavens are brass over their head.
Those who will press and keep pressing, who will wrestle and keep wrestling, those who will truly contend — until they break through.”

Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.
hallulujah!!! praise the Lord for this Word!!! We need to hear this mighty word from the Most High!!! thank you man of God for this powerful word..
Wow! That certainly is a word from the Lord which we are to heed! Yes, we all love to have admirable attention. May we not be like the Pharisees. It’s true that in a group that we can feel more of a desire to enter in. However, if before the King of kings and Lord of lords, we cannot give Him even more in private than we do in public, we truly hurt our Lord. We are to be intimate with Him. Many of us know that and do not apply it. May we all begin to give our Lord the praise and worship He so deserves from us,His creation.
