This Update is a most timely Word for NOW!

As I was seeking The LORD about Wisdom for a huge decision that I am facing, I kept hearing the words to this song and I recalled the post from 2022 whose time has fully come in 2024.

As you listen carefully and ponder the beauty and magnitude of our AMAZING GOD, remember HE is the Lily of the Valley’.

Christ the Lily of the Valley

Metaphor	Parallel
A lily is a sweet and a fragrant flower, yet of such a strong and odoriferous scent that a man’s senses (naturalists say) will be easily overturned with the sweet savour thereof.	The Lord Jesus Christ may vary fitly be compared to the lily, whose savour and spiritual sweetness very much excels and transcends the sweetest of any odours that can be mentioned; and honey and the honey-comb are sweet to the smell, and sweeter to the taste: O then how sweet is the precious savour of our blessed Saviour! A lily is white and very beautiful; within it are seven grains or seeds, of the color of gold, so amiable that our Saviour saith, “That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.” For whiteness it exceeds all flowers.	Whiteness denotes holiness; it is said of the bride, the Lamb’s wife, “And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.” Revelation 19:8. And of those “Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.” Revelation 3:4. Purity is essential, originally, perfectly, and absolutely inherent in Christ; He is holiness itself, His glory is infinite, within and without, every way glorious; the perfection of beauty.
It is observed that the lily is exceeding fruitful; one root puts forth fifty bulbs or scallions.	Jesus Christ is exceeding fruitful, from this Root, (for so is He called) how many lilies, or holy, and heavenly churches, have there sprung? Yea, from this blessed lily many thousands of holy and sanctified Christians. See the metaphor vine.
The lily is the tallest of flowers, yet hangs down its head.	Jesus Christ is higher than the mighty princes, kings and emperors of the earth, higher than heaven or angels, and yet humble and lowly in heart; therefore He is compared to the lily of the valley, in His exaltations, as God very high; but in His humiliations, He seems to hang down His head.
The lily is a flower that hath many medicinal virtues; the distilled water of a lily is good to restore a lost voice, it helps faintness, is good for the liver, helps the dropsy; and the oil of it is good for divers maladies, says Galen.	The great and incomparable virtue that is in the Lord Jesus Christ, is excellently good to cure all the diseases and maladies of the soul; it cures spiritual blindness, it softens a hard heart, it cures stubbornness and obstinancy, by His blessed infusion of grace; in a word, there is no malady too hard for this spiritual Physician. A Word for Today

In this hour, I keep seeing those who have been in the valley of despair and I hear The LORD say, ‘You shall arise and stand on The Mountain of Praise in the last days, rejoicing in The LORD your Savior!”

 

Consider the Lilies

“These are the days of meeting the challenges with hearts filled with courage; meeting the enemy at the gate; binding the deception and speaking the truth; locating the enemy and taking him down.

Watch your words, and incline your ear to listen and obey,” instructs The LORD.

“I need your full attention and your complete focus, for I AM positioning My People to tear down the walls of the enemy’s camp.

Just as I have promised an Open Heaven, so shall The Courts of Heaven reverse the curse of doom and destruction; so shall there be a time of divine interception and reversals,” says The LORD of Heaven and earth.

“There will be Restoration on many levels, and I say to you today, I AM restoring your ability to use all of your senses to discern your mind, your heart — and your will!

I say, this is a time to discern and know those who labor among you, for I AM sending Divine Connections to lock arms and strengthen The Body of Christ to take a bold stand, and live with an intentional military mindset,” says The Father.

I have been hearing an old song all day yesterday and today, and as I meditated on the words, The LORD spoke plainly to me, “Daughter, there are wars and rumors of wars. The enemy is planting the fear of lack, all across the land, saying there will be a food scarcity and lack of enough money.

But I gave you this song today to remind you, you have a Heavenly Father above, with eyes full of Mercy and a heart full of Love, and I AM the One in Whom there is no lack.

True, the lilies don’t toil or spin, but there is not a flower with more splendor than them.

I AM the one who put the stars in place, and I tell sun to shine. I AM your Caretaker, and just as My Eye is on the sparrow, I AM watching you and watching over you.

I supply all of your needs, and you are entering into a time of great transfer of Wealth and Restoration, just as I promised, for I AM a Promise Keeper.

Yes, My Daughter, stop and consider what nature is speaking to you. Listen, to the Bluebird sing a happy song.”

I realized more as I sang that song, that Nature speak to us of God’s supply and beauty daily.

Consider the lilies, they don’t toil nor spin
And there’s not a king with more splendor than them.
Consider the sparrows, they don’t plant nor sow,
But they’re fed by the Master who watches them grow.

May I introduce you to this friend of mine,
Who hangs out the stars and tells the sun when to shine.

But He’s not too busy to care about you.

As we consider the last stanza, ‘May I introduce you to this friend of mine,’ I realized this is the simplicity of the call of this hour as we interact with those who are being filled with the lies of lack, and fears for tomorrow.

This is our golden opportunity time to introduce them to our Best Friend.

In my Intercession for over a month, I have been praying about the loneliness that I keep picking up in The Spirit, and how COVID has trapped so many in their homes, with no interaction with others.

The LORD is saying, ‘Now is the hour to REACH OUT and PULL THEM IN, GO OUT AND SPEAK KINDNESS.

Ask of Me, and I will lead your steps to the right place at the right time, where someone is waiting in line for a ray of HOPE, a KIND word, an encouraging SMILE to demonstrate My HEART,” says the Father

“You are a chosen people for such a time as this, to BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED!

Sow a seed, plant a garden full of MERCY AND GRACE, and watch it grow into a field of GODLY DREAMS’.

It is time to dream again, live each day to the fullest for My HAND is reaching out to Guide you and Bless you,” says The LORD of all.

I leave you with this version of Consider the Lilies, because I believe The LORD desires us to keep our child-like faith.
