Confess Sins, Be Cleansed by The Blood
As we surely seek The Holy Spirit, we must pursue the life of holiness, and keep in The Way of Righteousness, always.
The Holy Spirit is HOLY; we His Temple must be like Him, holy.
For The Scripture says, “as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”” (1 Peter 1:15-16).
The child of God must be one who always cleanses himself from “all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God,” (2 Corinthians 7:1).
“Nevertheless the solid Foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The LORD knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names The Name of Christ depart from iniquity.”
But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honour and some for dishonour.
Therefore if anyone CLEANSES himself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honour, sanctified and useful for The Master, prepared for every good work.” 2 Timothy 2:19-21 emphasis added.
Notice that the apostle, by The Holy Spirit, used the present tense: “cleanses” in the above Scripture.
And another apostle, by The Holy Spirit, also said:
“But if we walk in The Light as He is in The Light, we have fellowship with one another, and The Blood of Jesus Christ His Son CLEANSES us from all sin.
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and The Truth is not in us.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Word is not in us,“ 1 John 1:7-10 emphasis added.
The Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin if we walk in The Light as God does. The Blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness if we confess our sins.
And then, we must turn away from them by The Grace of God.
Sin gives place to the devil. That’s why we are cautioned NOT to “give place to the devil,” (Ephesians 4:27).
Sin brings death: eternal death, physical death, financial death, marital death, ministry death, every kind of death. Sin brings death to any area of life it is given place. The spirit of death uses sin to kill areas of life it is allowed. The sting of death is sin, (1 Corinthians 15:56).
Confess and renounce sin; you’ll be restored to life, (1 John 1:9; 2 Corinthians 4:2; Romans 8:2; 6:13).
To confess sin is not a melancholic act and practice of piety.
Rather, it is to acknowledge it, to admit it to God with heart-rending abandon, and receive His forgiveness. This is the road of repentance we must daily travel.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ, as He Himself preached and commanded to be preached in His Name is: “repent”; “repentance and remission (forgiveness) of sins”, (Mark 1:15; Luke 24:47).
As I wrote previously, to sin, in the unseen realm, is MUCH MUCH MUCH worse than to smear oneself with faeces/ ‘toilet’. That’s why in The Word of God sin is defilement, uncleanness; and sinners are the defiled, the unclean.
As you may have noticed, Jesus often called a demon an “unclean spirit” when casting it out.
This is because, the devil and his angels sinned and continue to sin (2 Peter 2:4; 1 John 3:8) and are VERY UNCLEAN indeed.
Hell is unbearably unclean, endlessly filthy and tormenting. Why? It is a place of sinners: both demons and humans.
In my previous/ related Word “The Mystery And Riches of Repentance”, I emphasised the indispensable importance of repentance and being quick to repent.
I was delighted to find earlier today (26 May) that the website preceptaustin.org quoted F. B. Meyer as saying:
“Do not wait for the hour of evening prayer, nor even for the opportunity of being alone, but in the busy street, in the midst of daily toil, lift up your heart to Christ if you have done wrong, and say: “I have gone astray…”
Very apt indeed. We must be quick to repent fervently, no matter where and when.
Over the years, I have variously prayed effectual fervent prayers of repentance by The Utterance of The Holy Spirit. And I have experienced TREMENDOUS deliverances and other answers to prayer.
I thought to share below one such prayer that you can pray/adapt to pray as led by The Holy Spirit:
Our Father in Heaven,
I repent for my sins, the sins of my parents, and the sins of my ancestors (my fathers’ line and my mothers’ line) all the way to Adam and Eve, of… (mention the particular sin/sins; curse/ curses; problem/ problems).
I ask You to forgive me. And let The Blood of Jesus Christ Your Son cleanse me from all unrighteousness.
By The Blood of Jesus Christ Your Son, Father, redeem, release, set me free and purify me from all yokes, strongholds, soul ties, sins, shame, schemes, pursuits, persecutions, losses, hindrances, harassments, fellowships, disguises, devices, detours, desires, demons, delays, defilements, curses, covenants, consequences, communions, claims, captivities, bondages, agreements and accords thereof.
Father, replace them all with Your Righteousness and my every spiritual blessing in The Heavenly Realm in Christ.
In The Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I now dismantle, uproot and destroy by The Blood of Jesus this… (mention the particular sin/ sins; curse/ curses; problem/ problems). And I replace it with Your Righteousness and Blessing.
As written, Jesus Christ The Son of God said, “Every plant which My Heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted,” (Matthew 15:13).
Therefore, in The Name of Jesus Christ, I command you Satan and Satan’s throne and all strongholds of… (mention the particular sin/ sins; curse/ curses; problem/ problems), and all your demons, organs, associations, attachments, connections, collaborations and partnerships, dismantled, uprooted and destroyed out of my life by The Blood of Jesus, by The Cross of Jesus, by His Hands with the print of the nails!
I dismantle, uproot and destroy you Satan and Satan’s throne and all strongholds of… (mention the particular sin/ sins; curse/ curses; problem/ problems) out of my life by The Blood of Jesus!
In Jesus’ Name, I fight against you Satan with The Sword of His Mouth. I command you devoured by The Sword of His Mouth immediately! As David struck the Philistine, I devour and subdue you with slingstones! (Revelation 2:16, Zechariah 9:15).
Satan, I resist you with The Blood of Jesus, I resist you with The Cross of Jesus! In The Name of Jesus, Satan I forbid you to take my life and/ or any areas of my life captive to do your will.
Satan, by The Blood of Jesus Christ, I forbid you to come to steal and to kill and to destroy.
According to The Law of God in Proverbs 6:30, 31, I command you to return to me seven-fold all that you stole from me; you must give up all the substance of your house.
By The Blood of Jesus Christ, I dismantle, uproot and destroy you the spirits of thievery, death and destruction; the spirit of all disobedience — the prince of the power of the air, out of my life, my family (…my marriage, ministry, career, business… etc. Mention as applicable)!
LORD Jesus, as You promised, let me have life and have it more abundantly. Immediately release to me all my generational blessings from Adam and Eve which was stolen by the thief.
I pray The Throne of God and of The Lamb established and deeply rooted in my life, in all my heart, all my soul, all my mind and all my strength; in my brain, the whole nervous system, my speech system, indeed, in my whole spirit soul and body — yes, in my genes, DNA, chromosomes, cells, tissues, organs – in all parts of my body.
As written, ‘I discipline my body and bring it into subjection…’ By The Holy Spirit, I refuse to stumble in word; and I become a perfect man, able to bridle my whole body, (1 Corinthians 9:27; James 3:12).
In The Name of Jesus Christ, according to Revelation 2:16, Satan, I fight against you with The Sword of His Mouth! I command you Satan and Satan’s throne and strongholds of evil and lawlessness of… (mention the particular sin/ sins; curse/ curses; problem/ problems) devoured IMMEDIATELY by The Sword of His Mouth!
Satan and Satan’s throne and strongholds of evil and lawlessness against my life, my family, my ministry, my career and my business, according to Zechariah 9:15, I devour and subdue you with sling-stones exactly as David struck and destroyed the Philistine.
LORD Jesus, according to the terms of The Blood of The Everlasting Covenant, I ask You The LORD of hosts to defend me; and that by You and through You, I devour and subdue the enemy with sling-stones. (Zechariah 9:15).
LORD, according to Your Word, I drink and roar as if with wine; I pray that I am filled with The Blood of Jesus like the sacrificial basins, like the corners of The Altar, (Zechariah 9:15).
Father, as our LORD Jesus Christ said in Luke 11:13, I ask You to give me The Holy Spirit freely, as well as utterance by The Holy Spirit of speaking with new tongues as happened on The Day of Pentecost.
LORD Jesus Christ, baptise me with The Holy Spirit and Fire; let me be endued with POWER from on High.
Thank You Father for The Gift of God, Eternal Life! Thank You for Your Wonderful Son, Jesus Christ.
Thank You for The PRECIOUS Blood of Christ! Thank You for Your AWESOME Holy Spirit.

Father, let me and my family be like Your Wonderful Son Jesus Christ, as according to Romans 8:29. Thank You, Father.

In The Name of Jesus, I plead The Blood of Jesus to cover and protect me and my family as well as everyone and everything that concerns us.

By The Blood of Jesus, by The Cross of Christ, by His Hands with the print out of the nails, I BLOCK and bludgeon and destroy satanic retaliations and all other evil plans against us and all things that concern us.
Thank You LORD Jesus for Your POWER, authority, protection and provision.

Praise God! Thank you Brother Jacob for the message and sharing this spiritual warfare and the dismantling prayer of satan’s demonic strongholds, shackles of bondage, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ!
I read this prayer and felt a relief instantly of pressure within my spirit. I thank God for his love for all mankind, for those who truly love him, to share divine Grace, to be cleansed in his precious Blood, hallelujah!
Thank you for being obedient by the Holy Spirit with sharing this, it very much needed for me and I am sure so many others. All praise, all glory to our Father God which art in heaven, for sending his son to die on the cross in place of me, my wretchedness, my sins, iniquities to Save my soul from a eternal burning hell and the lake of fire. I truly owe him all.
