Complaining Brings Destruction & Delays Delivery
Beware:
Complaining Brings Destruction &
Delays Delivery!
Complaining can prevent completion. Complaining can delay completion.
Having been set free from Egyptian bondage, and headed to The Promised Land, The Children of Israel, during transit in the wilderness, complained against THE LORD as well as doubted His Word.
And a journey of days turned into a journey of decades. In fact, thousands of them were killed instantly by THE LORD for complaining. And, all who doubted died in the wilderness; they never made it to The Promised Land!
Thus, by complaining, some of the people did not complete the journey into The Promised Land, and others were delayed for forty years in getting into The Promised Land.
“Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.” 1 Corinthians 10:11.
“For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through The Patience and Comfort of The Scriptures might have hope.” Romans 15:4.
As it was with The Children of Israel on the way to The Promised Land, so it is with us The Children of GOD on the way to The Promised Land — “The Holy City, New Jerusalem” (Revelation 21:2; Hebrews 12:22).
When led by THE HOLY SPIRIT, we must only comply; never complain. We must only yield to THE SPIRIT, not yearn for the world. As JESUS said, “Remember Lot’s wife.“
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7.
Faith GREATLY pleases GOD, but complaining EXCEEDINGLY displeases Him – even infuriates Him to allow the destroyer to destroy those complaining!
“Now when JESUS had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, saying, “LORD, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.” And JESUS said to him, “I will come and heal him.” The centurion answered and said, “LORD, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a Word, and my servant will be healed. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it. ” When JESUS heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!“” Matthew 8:5-10 emphasis added.
“Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same Spiritual Food, and all drank the same Spiritual Drink. For they drank of that Spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was CHRIST. But with most of them GOD was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. And do not become idolaters as were some of them. As it is written, “The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.” Nor let us commit sexual immorality, as some of them did, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell; nor let us tempt CHRIST, as some of them also tempted, and were destroyed by serpents; nor complain, as some of them also complained, and were destroyed by the destroyer. Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.” 1 Corinthians 10:1-12 emphasis added.
I know it’s been tough for many of us for so long. But no matter what is happening GOD is GOOOOOOOD! SOOO GOOD! So TRUE are His Words, so GOOD are His Promises.
And we must always praise Him for that.
When we praise Him in the fire, He WILL deliver us out of the fire! (Remember the three Hebrew men in Daniel 3? PRAISE in the fire brings DELIVERANCE out of the fire! Hallelu-YAH! PRAISE GOD! Glory! Glory! Glory!).
Oh, THANK YOU LORD JESUS!
Are you in a wilderness right now? Let praises flow from you to GOD. Praise releases deliverance in the wilderness.
When experiencing severe lack in the wilderness, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST just praised (thanked) GOD for the little they had, and GOD released the plenty they needed to feed over five thousand people.
No supermarket van made the delivery. The Power of GOD did. In the wilderness!
When we praise Him in the pain, He WILL pour out His plenty. There MAY be pain before the plenty. And there is wilderness before The Promised Land.
The Children of Israel were delivered out of Egyptian bondage but had to go through the wilderness to enter The Promised Land. L ikewise, we in CHRIST JESUS have been delivered out of worldly bondage (the bondage of sin), but have to go through some wilderness situations so as to enter our Promised Land, (i.e. WHAT GOD has promised us personally and corporately).
And whatever our wilderness experience, we must ask for and have Grace to neither complain nor doubt The Promises of GOD as we wait on THE LORD in fervent prayer and expectation for them.
In this new and final season before our JESUS Flight to Heaven (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18), let us always go to GOD, not go against Him.
“Let us therefore come boldly to The Throne of Grace, that we may obtain Mercy and find Grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews 4:16.
“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter The Holiest by THE BLOOD OF of JESUS, by The New and Living way which He consecrated for us, through The Veil, that is, His Flesh, and having a High Priest over The House of GOD, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:19-23.
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of Jesus Christ by The Will of God, according to The Promise of Life which is in Christ Jesus, (2 Timothy 1:1).
As John was, Jacob is the disciple whom JESUS loves, (John 13:23;19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20). And like Paul, Jacob is “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
“And having been perfected, He became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
Thanks for this well timed post for me.
God bless you.
