Compassion in Church? Where is it?
This morning I just been weeping before The Lord. There is to much going on in the Body of Christ. The magnitude of people who are experiencing demonic attacks and seeking help, but can’t get it, because people are too busy to feel the infirmities of others.
The Body of Christ lacks the ability to feel compassion and love toward each other.
We are so caught up in our own selfish desires, that we don’t see our wounded bleeding weary brothers and sisters. Many are hurt and battling just to stay encouraged so they can hold on to their faith in God.
Strong Christians have no compassion for those who are saved and even filled with the Holy Ghost, but they are battling issues and have flaws. They forget that they were once at a place of struggling. These people love The Lord and striving to live right but are in a spiritually battle and seeking the help of those they consider stronger and more experience but they are either to busy to judgmental or to anointed to be around those that are not perfect.
As a body, we need to learn how to bear the infirmities of those that are weak. We need to take the time and see about our wounded. The people are crying out for help, and we preach finances, while they dying from hurts failures disappointment.
They are experiencing spiritual suicides, where they are giving up on fighting to keep their salvation, and just giving in to the temptation and going back into the world, because they have sought help for the problems they have, and people won’t help them, because their is no financial gain, attached to saving their life.
When did we get so unconcerned and unwilling to help each other?
What happen to loving your neighbor as you love yourself?
What happen to seeing your brother or sister in need, and your bowels of mercy are stirred to help them?
When did we become so selfish that we no longer care whether souls or saved?
How can we look at someone struggling with habits and sin, and not be moved with compassion to help them be set free and delivered?
What has happen to the Body of Christ, that they no longer walk in the ways of Christ?
Where is the love where is the unity?
When we become too busy to be concerned about souls, then we have lost the heart mind and will of Christ. We need a deep cleansing of our minds, our spirit, our soul, in this hour. We are no longer a self sacrificing, helping our fellow man, showing unconditional love to people.
I’m so hurt, as to the attitudes of those in the Body of Christ. No compassion, no love, no concern, for anyone but themselves. They are saying, “What’s in it for me? If I help someone else, what will I get out of it if I pour into this person life?”
What will you get but the satisfaction of seeing another person live be made free, and also the approval of God, because you are helping to keep another soul from bring lost, and from eternal damnation!
Just seeing a soul won to the kingdom, should give you great joy!!
~ Apostle Barbara R. Thomas
I wholeheartedly agree. Amen!
