I pray that this Word will bring a depth of encouragement to the very core of your being. I share this Word even from my own personal experiences and it is my hope that this Word will lift up your head and the weary hands that hang down, (Hebrews 12:12).

Perhaps many of you are in a season of feeling shut in. Shut in by the immense trials and troubles you are facing. Some of you may feel shut in and held bound by a season of darkness and you wonder when God’s radiant light will once again shine in your hearts. Take heart my dear beloved brothers and sisters. It is very well possible that you are in a spiritual cocoon. You are in the Lord’s making process. Praise the Lord you are being made through this process. In the making you may feel like you are breaking BUT you are being prepared by the Lord to break out and fly higher than ever before.

In order for a butterfly to be beautified and become all it was intended to be it must first submit to the cocoon stage of development. In the cocoon stage there shows little hope for any good to come. Cocoons are not outwardly attractive or pleasing to the eye. Cocoons are small, tight, and dark spaces that are most undesirable. BUT what is taking place on the INSIDE is a great work not to be regretted. Cocoons are only a temporary place! What you are currently going through is TEMPORARY but working something ETERNAL on the inside of you.

In preparation to share this Word I sensed the Lord say that many want to follow Him as long as things are easy and comfortable. But it is when we are able to stay the course and keep our dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ when everything seems to be shaken all around us. Butterflies must allow the cocoon process to take it’s course and so must we if are to to become all God has destined for us to become. There are no shortcuts to being the mighty men and women of God we have been called to be.

This Word may be the exact season some of you are in. Be encouraged and reminded today that what the Lord has BEGUN in you He will be FAITHFUL to COMPLETE, (Philippians 1:6). Those things that have seemingly held you down will soon be broken off and you will fly higher than ever before. And like the butterfly you will be beautiful as you are being made into the image of the One who created you, (Romans 8:29).
