Comfort
Thank You LORD for dividing light from darkness and that light is greater than darkness.
Oh Great GOD — thank You for dropping Jesus is the middle of darkness!
“In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” John 1:4-5.
Thank You LORD for lifting up a standard against my enemies when they come in like a flood.
“According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Isaiah 59:18-19.
When the enemy’s greeting is my past mistakes — You LORD show him my deliverance. Thank You LORD for wiping that smile off Satan’s ugly face!
Thank You Dear LORD for My daily bread. Thank You that I already have all things that pertain to life and Godliness.
“But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” Matthew 4:4.
“He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?” Romans 8:32.
Thank You Father for considering what You give to Your children.
Thank You Jesus, for not always giving substandard things. I know when it is my turn to receive imperfect stuff it brings Your name Glory.
“But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.” 1 Timothy 6:6-11.
Thank You Heavenly Father when I am placed in adverse situations it is not for punishment.
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28.
Thank You LORD — for not abandoning Your children in situations that seem hopeless. Many times, You allow our paths to cross misery so that our light shines in ciaos.
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:18-20.
LORD thank You for teaching (me, us, they, and them) about Your lovingkindness. I am learning how to understand Your word and ways. I am learning to do things in new and different ways.
“For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost. How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.” Matthew 18:11-14.
Thank You for giving me courage and boldness when I am weak.
Thank You LORD for sending me into battles with my knees shaking — but also showing I am never alone.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the LORD, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,” Ephesians 6:10-17.
Thank you LORD — when I go through flames and hoops of fire I never get burned.
Thank You Father for allowing me to smell like my singed clothing that did not burn.
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4.
The smell of smoke is a constant reminder of things burned off me — (deliverance and healing) when I went through the fire.
Thank You for victory.
The smell of smoke is my “Comfort” when I am going through trials.
“Rejoice ye with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all ye that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all ye that mourn for her: that ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory. For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem. And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies. For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.” Isaiah 66:10-15.
Peace Out,
The Blessing of The LORD Be upon You,
Blessings,
