Zephaniah 3 says:

“The LORD your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” Zephaniah 3:17.

“Rejoice” here, can be translated as: “to spin around (under the influence of any violent emotion).”

Spinning around because you’re overwhelmed by emotion?

Sounds like dancing to me!

Zephaniah 3:17 says “[God] will [dance] over you with singing.”

While in prayer today, I closed my eyes to feel and I felt The LORD standing directly in front of me with His arms stretched wide.

With my eyes still closed, I grabbed His outstretched hands. His face, towering above me. He was tall and His presence before me was overwhelming.

I felt unworthy for and sunk my head into His chest. He lifted my head and said, “Dance with Me!”

It is in this moment He shared this with me for each of you today reading this, He is removing the hope deferred in this season you find yourself in.

Your frustration shall be turned to laughter and the war in your soul shall be over.

His ways are not our ways and sometimes He has to quiet us with His songs — His songs of love.

Keep your eyes on Jesus and His great love for you. Listen in the night as He may waken you with a song just for you.

The One who holds the nations and measures out the span of the seas in the palm of His hand — He Sings and Dances over you and me with such Joy.

For many of you have said, “God, You said… and it hasn’t happened. I have waited, prayed, done everything You told me to do, and still, Your Word hasn’t manifest!”

Well, The LORD wants you to know that He dwells in the very center of your being, He is your powerful, valiant Warrior.

He has come to set you free, to keep you safe and to bring you victory in what you are waiting for. He takes pleasure in your presence.

He has engraved a place for Himself in you, and there He rests in His love and affection for you. He cannot contain Himself at the thought of you, and with the greatest of joy, spins around wildly with joy over you.

In fact, He shouts and sings in triumph joyfully proclaiming the gladness of His heart in a song of rejoicing, all because of you.

You my dear one are his priority and he will not fail you now or ever! Look up for the broken pieces are coming back together for you, the flood gates of Heaven are positioned over you and just know your prayers and waiting has not been in vain. In the waiting, your Abba has been working.

Abraham dared to trust God to do what only God could do: when things looked hopeless, Abraham believed anyway.

He didn’t live by what he couldn’t do, but by what God said He would do.

God is working even when we can’t see it.

He is completely trustworthy.

With just one Word, He will make something out of nothing. Those dead lifeless situations will live again.

With an extended hand to you in your time of weariness, hurt and pain, Jesus is saying to you: “Come dance with me!”

And as you accept that invitation, He will whisper to you, “My Child ,just let Me lead!”
