Come Back Full Circle to Prayer — Father is Waiting for You
Good morning.
To many who read and who know me personally, my style of music for years has been a lot of Praise and Worship kind of songs.
Still, I listen to Country Gospel and Southern Gospel. I am from the deep South, the State of South Carolina, so that type of music stirs my spirit.
All of us out there will be different and God will use what He uses with each of us!
Today I wish to start with this song.
It is like I said recently in an article, The LORD has been bringing me back to my roots in some songs.
These type of songs a lot of times, are what many of us sang growing up in the churches.
While I believe a lot of the new songs are birthed out of deep experiences with The LORD, (some I can’t go with) these old ones are too!
They tell something, a ‘Message’, not just a beat and rhythm at times you will hear.
This particular one draws us back to Prayer!
Without Prayer, we have left off one of our most important weapons. (Notice the verse Ephesians 6:18 at the end here.)
We must pray and seek God in all things.
This is a day and age when most act out of emotions in retaliation from offense and wounds.
The ‘Secret Place’ we must get in and stay in with The Father. He will lead guide and direct us as we go.
As we pray, it must always be in Jesus Name.
Let’s Take Time to Pray!
God bless you.
“And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man: and there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.
And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.
And The LORD said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.
And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:1-8.
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in The LORD, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints,” Ephesians 6:10-18.
