Come Away! Come Away!
A Psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
Come Away! Come Away!
Come away!
Come away!
Come away with Him
The sun is rising this morning
Revelation is but a thought away
Come even higher where eagles fly
Dare to dream bigger on wings of freedom
Because God, Beloved,
Is bigger than anything
You are up against in this world;
He can be anything you need
He is the Wind that lifts you up
And gives you strength to carry on
He is calling
Like the church bells on a Sunday morning
Like a pair of doves flying overhead
Like a Groom calling His Bride to a wedding—
The banquet table is set for Eternity
Filled with promise and plenty
Oh Beloved, He is calling you to come away with Him
Come away!
Come away!
Come away with Him
Faith is but a step away
Come even closer where Truth resides
Dare to let the Light into your soul
In your heart discover His Great Love
Because God, Beloved,
Is bigger than anything
You are up against in this world;
He can be anything you need
He is the Wind that defends you
And clears a path to persevere upon
He is calling
Like church bells on a Sunday morning
Like a pair of doves flying overhead
Like a Groom calling His Bride to a wedding—
The banquet table is set for Eternity
Filled with promise and plenty
Oh Beloved, He is calling you to come away with Him
Taste the new wine from the new wine skins
Dance and be merry
Sing to Him new songs
Bask in His Glory
His Face is strong and gentle
His Eyes hold unfathomable Love
His Presence makes you forget
The world and its brokenness
Come away!
Come away!
Come away with Him
Come away!
Come away!
Come away with Him
While the sun is still in the sky
Do not let Him pass you by
Seek His Godly Countenance
Let Him lead you to His Wedding Table
Where His Manna is sweet, refreshing and everlasting
Oh come away!
Come away with Him!
Oh the Revelation!
Oh the Faith!
Oh the Love!
For God who commanded
The Light to shine out of darkness,
Has shined in our hearts,
To give the Light of the Knowledge
Of the Glory of God in the Face of Jesus Christ!
He is calling
Like church bells on a Sunday morning
Like a pair of doves flying overhead
Like a Groom calling His Bride to a wedding—
The banquet table is set for Eternity
Filled with promise and plenty
Oh Beloved, He is calling you to come away with Him
Oh come away, Beloved, without further ado
Come away with Him!
“to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me,” Acts 26:18.
“The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ,” 2 Corinthians 4:4-6.
“Seek The LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near,” Isaiah 55:6.
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also,” John 14:1-3.
“God said to Moses, “I am who I am.” And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel, ‘I am has sent me to you.’”” Exodus 3:14.
“And again Jesus spoke to them in parables, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son, and sent his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come. Again he sent other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and my fat calves have been slaughtered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.”’ But they paid no attention and went off, one to his farm, another to his business, while the rest seized his servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them. The king was angry, and he sent his troops and destroyed those murderers and burned their city. Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy. Go therefore to the main roads and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.’ And those servants went out into the roads and gathered all whom they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests. “But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ For many are called, but few are chosen,” Matthew 22:1-14.
