Close Relationships Pay Off for Those Who Are Faithful in God’s Kingdom!
“Piggyback,” according to Webster’s Dictionary, means to carry or transport piggyback: such as:
-(a) of or relating to the hauling
-(b) being or relating to something carried into or an extra load by or piggyback.
As I was meditating upon The LORD I heard the word “piggyback!”
As I pondered upon this word, I thought about the impartation of The Spirit of God, and the parable of the seed and the sower.
The seed is the Word of God. Those by the way side are they who hear the Word of God, then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.
I believe that The Holy Ghost wants to impart an anointing into the lives of those who will be faithful and are not just casually passing by, like these listeners standing by the wayside to hear a Word here and there, but are not truly dedicated in receiving an impartation of the anointing of God to be imparted in their lives!
As you can see, they on the rock are they, who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but these have no root, and who for a while believe, but in time of temptation fall away.
Still not faithful ,these are the ones who shout “Amen! Amen! Praise God!” and preach, but they have no Words on the inside of their bellies, and at the very first signs of trouble, they give up and you say to yourself they was falling out and speaking in tongues, but have backslide at the sign of tribulations!
My, My, My! Sounds like somebody you know?
And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
Come on somebody! These are the church folks who piggyback off the world and all it has to offer. They are fleshy, carnal and religious and you know them, because they do not have agape love!
They sit under the word but it never has even taken root because other things besides the word of God is more important to them than a holy life style of living free from sin!
But that which is on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, (did more than listened) keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience (Luke 8:11-15 KJV).
And so, these are the ones like Elisha, Joshua and the seventy Elders will receive the anointing of God in their lives! And God will allow them to sit under others to receive an impartation of His anointing.
Elisha was speaking with the fifty men of the sons of the prophets who went and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan. And Elijah took his mantle, and wrapped it together, and smote the waters, and they were divided hither and thither, so that they two went over on dry ground.
And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee.” Elisha said, “I pray thee, let a double portion of thy spirit be upon me.”
And he said, “Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, if thou see me when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; but if not, it shall not be so.”
Meaning that Elisha had to be faithful and close up and personal in a relationship with Elijah if he wanted this impartation to occur in his life. It was a condition he had to follow.
And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; (the time had come for them to separate and go there separate ways) and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven, (2 Kings 2: 7-11).
And the results of what Elisha received showed up in his life, because the anointing upon Elijah fell upon Elisha and he received Elijah’s mantle, because as one would say, “the proof was in the pudding” and the same miracles Elijah did, Elisha begin performing!
So, Elisha took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and went back, and stood by the bank of Jordan; and he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, “Where is the LORD God of Elijah?” When he also had smitten the waters, they parted hither and thither: and Elisha went over, (2 Kings 2:13-14).
You see, God wants to grant many impartations to His people in this season like he did Elijah and Elisha.
Moses was a man who was so faithful, but he couldn’t do this work on his own, so God used Moses’ Father-in-law to let Moses know that he needed help to do the work, because it was too great for one man alone!
So Moses went out and told the people the words of The LORD and he gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people and placed them around the tabernacle.
Then The LORD came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was upon him, and placed the same upon the seventy elders; (piggyback anointing) and it happened, when the Spirit rested upon them, that they prophesied…” (Numbers 11:24-25a NKJV).
Apostle Paul also thought of impartation as part of the process of becoming established.
He imparted spiritual gifts to the Roman believers to give them a better foundation, “For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established…” Romans 1:11 NKJV.
Notice, the Apostle Paul desired to impart the anointing upon those who were faithful to the work and not just to any old body hanging around the ministry not being faithful like the Church today who seems to be passing out impartations for a buck or two!
Impartation occurs not just because of touch, but because a person places his or her hands on you by the direction of the Holy Spirit with a goal in mind.
Intentionally, the impartation occurs.
The LORD is getting ready to bestow honor upon those whom honor is due!
Those who have kept the faith and have been working diligently in His Kingdom to do a work for Him and like those who where more than just hearers of the Word when the seed was sown, you shall be rewarded!
~ Apostle Geraldine Fisher
Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
Amazing.
