Clearly Seeing a Way Out!
Dream:
I’m in a restaurant at a booth eating with a man. He has a HUGE plate of spaghetti in front of him on a plate. We are talking.
The next scene I can see him in the woods walking. He’s wearing glasses, but all of a sudden his glasses are gone, and he can’t see as clearly.
He seems to be looking for them in the bushes, on the ground, but is unable to find them and is fearful of being lost.
Next, he is in the middle of a clearing where there are no trees, just bushes and shrubs in front of him. Suddenly, there are huge trees that appear, like they have grown up out of nowhere.
Then he sees a small narrow path to the left of him, still through the trees, but at least it offers a way out.
Interpretation:
The man represents each of us, in the Body of Christ.
The restaurant is the church, where we are fed the Word of God. I am representing Jesus, who is eating and fellowshipping with the man.
He’s eating a HUGE plate of spaghetti, which for me means MOSTLY MEAT in the sauce; and a few noodles.
SO, he isn’t getting milk, HE’S GETTING LOTS OF MEAT, or a lot of ADVANCED WORD, REVELATION, and UNDERSTANDING in his huge plate of spaghetti.
Next the man is in the woods walking, alone and he’s wearing glasses. So he can see before himself and where he’s going.
Then something happens because he loses his glasses. He can no longer see, and has lost his way or is unsure where to go in the woods.
Just like we do, when something happens, we sometimes lose our way to The LORD and sometimes our relationship with Him, gets all tangled up in the bushes / shrubs / trees, or gets caught on the root of something, that is trying to hold us back.
This appears to be a time of testing for the man. Do you remember your last test with The LORD?
When you are being tested, you often find yourself, very uncomfortable, because The LORD is trying to get you to stretch yourself, so that you’ll be able to conquer new territory for Him.
So, if you aren’t comfortable in the woods, with all the plant life, bugs, and animals, then it can be a scary place to be, just as the world can be, if you don’t have a relationship with The LORD.
As it gets darker in the woods in the night or if you go deeper into the trees, it can appear to close in on you. Again, it can be scary, if you don’t have a relationship with The LORD and trust Him to get you out of the place you have gotten yourself into.
Then, the man is in the middle of the clearing, which says he has more room to breathe, just bushes or shrubs, nothing huge to tower over him, or close in on him, and the bushes and shrubs in a clearing are spread out a ways from each other.
Suddenly huge trees pop up out of nowhere, this represents that even when we think we are in the clear, something can always pop up.
When this happens we need to make sure to seek The LORD, to know if it is him trying to show us something, or cause us to change directions or the enemy, trying to block us from going forward on our path with The LORD.
We need to oftentimes, in these events ask The LORD to make a way, where there seems to be no way.
We should not automatically assume that it is the enemy blocking our way.
“Here is what ADONAI says, who has made a way in the sea, a path through the raging waves; who led out chariot and horse, the army in its strength – they lay down, never to rise again, snuffed out and quenched like a wick. “Stop dwelling on past events and brooding over times gone by; I am doing something new; it’s springing up – can’t you see it? I am making a road in the desert, rivers in the wasteland,” Isaiah 43:16-19 CJB.
Finally, a small narrow path appears to the left of the man, through the trees, and offers a way out. Proving that it was God who caused the trees to pop up, so that the man would change directions and see the path through the trees.
The LESSON in this, is that things aren’t always as they seem. We need to be sure to constantly be communing with The LORD, through prayer, worship, whatever, so that when emergencies arise, we seek Him and we understand what He is revealing to us.
The greater the relationship with God, the easier it is to understand Him and His ways, because you begin to blend, to become more like Jesus, to become the new person, that He wants you to be, not what you thought you were to become.
That way, we can continue on His path and aren’t distracted or upset, because something gets in the way of where we thought we were to go. God is great at problem solving; the problem is we often think we are the only ones who have the answer.
He is the only one with the true answer. He always has it right, and is more than willing to help, but we need to be willing to seek Him.
God Bless You!
