Christmas is perhaps the most exciting, yet poignant time of year for many — for children especially it’s a magical time.

For most adults it’s a time to spend with family to enjoy the present, and at the same time, to remember Christmas past and those no longer with us.

For us, it’s that time of life to look back and remember, especially as we can’t join family this time around, but friends have invited us to join them.

But God’s Word says not to look back but, rather, to look forward in excited anticipation of that which is yet to come.

So that’s what we’re doing, we’re looking forward to 2024 with genuinely excited anticipation of that which is coming.

We love all the people who’ve been part of our 2023 walk, and we pray that many, if not all of them will be with us through 2024.

God has given us promises for the coming times, and I’m certain He has given many of you promises too.

He rarely puts a timescale on these promises so we must simply wait on Him in faith for His timing.

We must pray them in too and, as I think about this, my heart beats a little faster in the knowledge that all Gods promises are yes and amen, so they will all happen, but in His perfect time!

So, may I suggest that we all make a list of our goals for 2024.

• List God’s promises to you,
• list your hearts desires for yourself and others,
• list whatever it is that you’re truly believing for,
• and then keep a diary of fulfilled ones.

Many will be fulfilled in the coming year, and some may take a bit longer.

Just keep on praising and praying, and watch how God orchestrates your year ahead.

Remember, we cannot just sit back and wait for personal prophecy to be fulfilled — we must pray it in too.

That’s why we’re so looking forward to the new year ahead.

God has exciting things for ALL of us — The best is truly yet to come!
