Christians Must Take Up that Shield of Faith Above All
Good morning.
Just why are we to take up that shield of faith above all?
The Word of God does clearly say in Ephesians 6,
“Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Ephesians 6:16.
Simple, as without faith we can’t even please God.
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6.
The other part of this verse, tells us by taking the shield of faith, we can then quench the fiery darts from the enemy.
This is mighty important in warfare!
Here is a short on YouTube today I found for the first time.
Now a link to add more clarity to this today, perhaps.
Within this link above are other articles provided, also.
One of the links provided are instructions on even guarding our hearts.
Hopefully as you open and study, it will all fit together and be a blessing.
Capping it here now for today…
Just always remember we are fighting from that place of victory!
Also, we are already *strategically seated in heavenly places!
*See last link at bottom to get more understanding on the word, please.
Closing as always with the precious Word of God to back up the words spoken.
God bless each one of you.
“But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:4-7.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” Ephesians 6:10-18.

DearJoyce, We must understand that NOW FAITH IS…has multiple meaning and I love how you spelled it out..it is the substance of things hoped for but it is our shield against the enemy, our shield to bring our hopes to reality. God bless you, my sister, and friend. God bless your beautiful heart. Great is your reward, faithful one. xoxo LOVE YOU, Sandi
Thank you Sandi for your wise words here
There are so many depths to all of this concerning faith. We, at best can only scratch the surface. That is the way I feel most times when I start digging in the Lord in the word. I love you, my beloved friend and sister. ❤️
