OBL…..

Well, I’ve been quiet about it all day, listening to some of the harsh remarks and jokes being made by Christians here on Facebook.

As a Vietnam vet, I see no joy in all of this killing. It’s obvious, most here [on Facebook] have never been in war. Some things must be done, but rejoicing over it shows a lack of integrity.

Most vets are not glad they ever killed anybody. Wise cracks and big mouths, real spirit going on. Christians also have a history. We Americans have a history too.

This going all over the world bombing people is not heroic, it’s evil and we’ve made a lot of money doing it.

Wonder how many people we’ve killed over the years? We only know what we’re being told. The reality is that we don’t know the truth about any of this. We’re digging a deeper hole for ourselves. The rest of the world knows more truth about us than we do.

America was formed with guns and violence and we still use them on each other right here in our own streets and neighborhoods.

Many were murdered back then, so we could all live here. People all over the world are killing each other with guns we either sold to their dictators, or gave to whomever we wanted to win.

This attitude is not what Jesus taught. I’m not backing down from this. Some of you are completely out of order.

So we killed him. Now how many more of ours will die in return? It goes on and on. Get you a M-16 and go stand on the corner in one of those countries and start shooting, or zip your lip.

Stop using our less fortunate boys and girls to do your dirty work. This organized killing machine we are so proud of, will one day, turn on us and ours and we’ll finally know how other people have lived — roles reversed.

Some of the Christian women on Facebook with their rants about politics and war could scare me. They should be given a front row seat on the firing line.

Why don’t you ask Jesus what He thinks about all of this? I guess He loved OBL too.

If the families of 9/11 want to rejoice, let them. They have a reason. The rest of us need to pray, open our eyes and hope the Prince of Peace returns soon.

How many of ours have been killed and maimed forever in Iraq and Vietnam, and for what? So we can do the same thing somewhere else?

Have we forgotten others have atomic weapons too? We sold it to a lot of them. The whole world is turning their weapons on us and and we haven’t stopped to ask… Why they’re jealous of us?

Why, we’re all so in debt…? We’ve let greed and the desire for money and things lure us into living above our means and judging people by what they have, not what kind of person they are.

Our country is in deep financial debt to some of our worse enemies. ( BTW, how did that happen anyway?)

We may lose our job tomorrow, our homes are under water, some of them literally, we can’t pay our bills, we’re the most divorced people in the world and our money could collapse anytime….

Can anyone spell the word “trillions”? And half or more of us are on nerve pills, including our children and better than half of us are terribly overweight. Why would anyone be jealous of that?

We’re off somewhere, so-called ‘fighting for other people’s rights’, while we are losing our own rights more every day here at home.

Our country’s in a bad mess and we cannot face ourselves. Most of us do not even like one another. We’ll see just how many of you will step forward to help those injured and broken men and women returning from all this war.

You didn’t help us when we came back, or when the Gulf War guys came home, and you won’t help the latest ones either. I would assume that most have not even volunteered one single day to help a disabled vet or their family…. That’s our history.

Corruption is everywhere, even in the Church.

Our elected political parties have proven they cannot work together and for how many years now and don’t even intend to. They don’t even live in the same world most of us live in.

I wonder just how many or ours died from violence right here in one year.s time…. If one of yours was not in 9/11, you need to sit down and be quite. You’re causing a lot more trouble for the rest of us.

We don’t know what we’re doing, following some blind leaders who have a habit of not telling the truth when it’s an extra dollar in their pocket.

Those people over there will fight us to the death. Even a simple country boy knows that! They have no fear of dying for their religion or what they believe in. They have sworn a revenge we cannot contain, and they find it very hard to hear about Christ when the Christians are raining down shock and awe on them, and taking their oil and give them nothing in return to take care of their families.

The radicals will die for their so-called religious beliefs, and it remains to be seen yet if most of us would do it for ours.

Christian Warlords, it’s not the first time.

You won’t hear it from this simple man or anyone else. That’s okay, I’m tired of listening to some of you too.

Glory to God, we killed another one. I’m over it.
