How sad it is that religion has caused so many today, as in past generations, to be married to churches, institutions, leaders, doctrines, traditions — and to the letter of what God said and did in ancient times, that are recorded in Scripture — rather than to marry them to Christ in personal intimacy and in the reality of knowing Him, leading them to that place of Union and intimacy where they would so grow to know Him and to walk in Him that the need to rest upon anyone or anything except Him and His Living Person, would simply fade away in the reality of His Presence!

Where they would be led by His present Word and the Love-impressions of His heart as He guides, directs and leads them in the harmony of Union in being a living part of Him, as He is of them.

It seems that the very core of the Gospel — Who is Christ in you, has been substituted and lost to a system of compliance, of regulations, of unwritten laws, rules, subtle control by the introduction of accepted norms and values, based upon the traditions of men and the teachings of theologians, who’s knowledge and expertise span the realm of education, human understanding, wisdom and knowledge, but whose eyes have been veiled to the true revelation of the very essence of the Message they are supposed to proclaim — which is — The Person of Christ in the reality of His Spirit-Life!
