Chasing a Thousand
“One man of you shall chase a thousand, for the Lord your God is He who fights for you, as He promised you,” Joshua 23:10, NKJV.
“My child, very many of My people come to Me in prayer, not in faith, but wishing and hoping that I might hear them and answer them with an affirmation.
They come with set ideas of how I should respond to their petitions.
They are conflicted, because they do not believe that I AM in them and that they can chase a thousand.
I have sent you back to camp out in John 14-17, because it is essential that you know without a doubt that you are to abide in Me and I abide in you.
I have made this possible. This degree of intimacy is available to all who call Me Lord.
Then when you pray, it is not from a place of trying to get My attention, but it is from the place of sitting with Me on My Throne.
Yes, you are to pray from the place of victory not your perceived lack.
For example, the armies of Israel surrounded the walled city of Jericho, when they shouted they fully expected and believed that I would fight for them and with them against the enemy.
They believed because the Ark of the Covenant was with them.
But you have a greater position, because you are an ark (spirit, soul, and body) that carries My presence. That is the reality and truth of abiding in Me.
Seasoned spiritual warriors never goes into battle alone. They go with full consciousness of My indwelling presence.
Yet more than that, they are fully aware of our unity or common-union.
You are a new creation filled with My Resurrection Life and Light, a citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven, and dearly beloved of the Father. Speak My words of Life.
You do not have to plead for My attention, love or concern.
I AM forever vigilant to watch over the ones who abide in Me.
How could I forget the ones in whom I dwell?
I loved Judas even though I knew he would betray Me. The evil one and the powers of darkness are My enemies.
Judas turned away from My love and chose the darkness over the Light. But My love was genuinely given to him, even as it is given to all who are lost.
But they must make a free-will choice to abide in Me.
Come now and line up your prayers and declarations with My Word, My will, and My purposes.
Let Me be LORD of your entire being — spirit, soul, and body — thereby abiding in Me.
The days of great exploits are quickly approaching so your foundation must be established on the Rock of our unity.
Believe I AM in you and that you can and will chase a thousand, because I fight for you, with you and through you to prevail over all the minions of darkness.
This is a good day to practice using your Sword and weapons of Light against the forces of evil. Wait upon Me and I will show you how to be effective and efficient in prayer.
When you allow Me to fight through you, you will not grow weary and will be able to use your weapons with divine precision and accuracy.
I release My blessings and My peace upon you and yours. I see your progress. Be encouraged.
All is well. Shalom.”
“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple…..
….. But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired,” Psalms 27:4; Isaiah 40:31, AMPC
