Our Seasons are Changing!
Every so often I am prompted to go back and listen to a prophetic word that the LORD gave me somewhere in the past. This morning I felt led to send this word to someone specifically but I also believe that it can and will bless many of you. I hope that you will take the time to listen and to allow this word to sink in.
Even the first rays of the sun peeking over the horizon are powerful enough to send the darkness into retreat.
Shame and guilt seek any shadow that remains so that they may remain undetected and therefore continue their work.
Their cowardice is revealed as they huddle in corners deathly afraid of the light. No longer will they rule for their power is BROKEN.
The Son came so that truth may be revealed to all. That truth is found in His LIGHT!
The Seasons are Changing!
Do you sense a change in the seasons? The transition from one season to the next maybe gradual but the signs are apparent to those who discern.
“The seasons are changing,” says the LORD.
“The seed was planted in the spring. It has grown and has been forming fruit throughout the summer. And now with the change of the seasons comes the harvest. Are you ready? If you are seeking My will in this hour you are seeking to reap the soon coming harvest. There have been abundant harvests in the past but the abundance of this one will surpass them all. Are you beseeching Me to send more workers into the field? If not, you need to be.
This harvest will not spoil in the fields, because it is Mine. What is left behind will be turned into the ground but that which has been reaped will be cause for great celebration. A feast is coming. A day of rejoicing is coming.”
In this coming season the LORD needs men and women with clean hands and pure hearts.
He needs those who are willing to walk away from the corruption that exists in this nation and even in the church. To return to the Promised Land we must first be willing to separate ourselves from the Babylonian system.
This place may be where we have built our homes. It may be where we have earned our living but our hearts do not belong to it. We must come out. We must arise. We must shine in this dark hour.
Nehemiah’s wall is being rebuilt. We are called to be separate. We are called to be set aside. We are called to be holy.
The LORD will deliver His people out of Babylon but it will only be a remnant. The light of His people resembles a candle. A breeze blows and we flicker. A wind comes and we are in danger of being blown out.
What is needed is a roaring fire. It laughs at the breeze and burns brightly even in the strong winds. Nothing will put it out.
In this hour so must our passion burn for the LORD and for His people. The lukewarm days are gone.
The time of keeping a foot in the world and a foot in God’s kingdom has passed. Rise up!
We will carry the burden of the LORD in our hearts and His message of truth will be on our lips. Heap fuel on the fire and let it burn brightly!
