Introduction

After one of my Words on The Feasts of THE LORD in 2020, our dear brother and editor of His Kingdom Prophecy, Angus MacKillop, asked if I would write a booklet on how to celebrate The Feasts of THE LORD — a handy compendium for readers.

This work is the result of his HOLY GHOST-suggestion. By prayer, I knew it was an important assignment of reverence THE HOLY SPIRIT was giving me through him.

Angus and his wife Jill are of immense prayerful and encouraging support, so hardworking at the ministry.

Angus also gave me a lot of very useful recommendations and suggestions after reviewing the first draft. For example, bullet points of Feasts summaries and celebration actions for quick reference and assimilation.

The Feasts of THE LORD Are For THE LORD

It cannot be over-emphasised. The Feasts of THE LORD, commanded by GOD in His Word, are very much for us to celebrate in CHRIST JESUS for Him.

They are not just for Jewish people according to the flesh, to celebrate.

Without controversy, we in CHRIST JESUS are actually Jews; we are Jews both now and FOREVER. Please believe this Truth of GOD with reverence and joy.

“For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in THE SPIRIT, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from GOD.” Romans 2:28-29.

This is also confirmed in Revelation 21:12-13,21 where we enter Heaven via one of 12 Gates, “and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel” (Revelation 21:12) — so all who enter Heaven are linked to a tribe of Israel.

In 2020, because of my Words on The Feasts of THE LORD on His Kingdom Prophecy, a sister emailed me with vehement disagreement about celebrating them.

But these Divine Celebrations are actually called “The Feasts of THE LORD” in The Bible. The Feasts belong THE LORD. Indeed, THE LORD says “these are My Feasts.” And He commanded that they are to be celebrated FOREVER! (Please see Leviticus 23).

In fact and in Truth, we will be celebrating The Feasts of THE LORD in eternity in The Holy City, New Jerusalem (also called “The City of our Appointed Feasts”).

THE HOLY SPIRIT announced this through Isaiah the prophet in this G-L-O-R-I-O-U-S Scripture:

“Your eyes will see The King in His Beauty; They will see The Land that is very far off. Look upon Zion, The City of our Appointed Feasts; Your eyes will see Jerusalem, a quiet home, a Tabernacle that will not be taken down; not one of its stakes will ever be removed, nor will any of its cords be broken. But there The Majestic LORD will be for us a Place of Broad Rivers and Streams, in which no galley with oars will sail, nor majestic ships pass by (For THE LORD is our Judge, THE LORD is our Lawgiver, THE LORD is our King; He will save us);” Isaiah 33:17,20-22.

The above Scripture says that we will see JESUS our King in His Beauty then. For now, by faith we will see The Land, The Holy City, that is very far off. (“For here we have no continuing city, but we seek The One to come.” Hebrews 13:14).

And THE HOLY SPIRIT specifically commands us to “Look upon Zion [The New Jerusalem], The City of our Appointed Feasts…”, meaning, set your heart, your mind on it (Colossians 3:1-3).

As noted above, our Eternal Home is called “The City of our Appointed Feasts”!

This Jerusalem (The New Jerusalem) is described as A QUIET HOME, a Tabernacle (unlike the Tabernacle in the wilderness), that will not be taken down; not one of its stakes will ever be removed, nor will any of its cords be broken.

The Book of Revelation calls our Eternal Home “The Tabernacle of GOD…with men.”

“Then I, John, saw The Holy City, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from GOD, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from Heaven saying, “Behold, The Tabernacle of GOD is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. GOD Himself will be with them and be their GOD.” Revelation 21:2-3.

And Isaiah says further:

“But there The Majestic LORD will be for us a Place of broad rivers and streams, In which no galley with oars will sail, Nor majestic ships pass by [meaning, no more warfare; no more trouble and tribulations, no more sorrow].” Isaiah 33:21.

Why? THE LORD our Judge, THE LORD our Lawgiver, THE LORD our King will have saved us from this present evil age!

Hallelu-YAH!

So WE WILL be celebrating The Feasts of THE LORD forever in our new, peaceful home in The New Heavens (space/ galaxies) and New Earth in which Righteousness dwells, (2 Peter 3:13).

In the meantime though, The Feasts of THE LORD are for the children of GOD in CHRIST JESUS, not just Jews according to the flesh.

THE GOD of Israel is “THE GOD of The Jews” and “THE GOD of The Gentiles,” (Romans 3:29).

Thus, although celebrated by Jews historically and traditionally, The Feasts of THE LORD are actually for the children of GOD in CHRIST JESUS — Jew and Gentile.

Above all, our LORD JESUS CHRIST Himself celebrated The Feasts of THE LORD, (See John 2:13; 5:1; 7:11 and other accounts in The Gospels).

As He did, so we must do, with obedience, reverence and thanksgiving.

GOD specially visits us during The Feasts of THE LORD. It was at a Feast that our GOD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST healed a man who had an infirmity for thirty-eight years.

JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday, today and forever.

It was at a Feast (Tabernacles) that THE LORD announced The Supply of THE HOLY SPIRIT to those who believe in Him.

THE FATHER SACRIFICED His ONLY SON for our sins at Passover, the first Feast of THE LORD.

And during The Feast of Firstfruits, GOD, by the greatest show of the exceeding greatness of His Mighty POWER, raised JESUS CHRIST from the dead for our Justification before Him.

On the same Day, JESUS CHRIST, our Great High Priest, WITH HIS OWN BLOOD, entered The Most Holy Place once for all of us His brethren, making The NEW and Living Way for us to enter with BOLDNESS. Hallelu-YAH!

Thus, by This Event of the greatest importance, reverence and thanksgiving, we can now enter The Holiest in Heaven, anytime! And enter always, (Hebrews 4:16;10:19-23).

Think about this. Even Aaron the high priest could not go into the earthly Tabernacle just at any time (two of his sons were even killed by GOD when they did, and offered strange fire). The high priest under The Old Covenant entered The Holy of Holies in the earthly Temple once a year.

But now, WE get to go into The Most Holy Place in The Temple in Heaven, where The Holy GOD Almighty is, every moment.

And on The Day of Pentecost, a Feast of THE LORD, JESUS poured THE HOLY SPIRIT out abundantly on us.

The Feasts of THE LORD, in actuality, prefigure The Schedule of Salvation. The Feasts of THE LORD constitute The Calendar of Redemption (I will discuss this Truth further in a moment).

Now, as aforesaid, GOD’s Plan of Salvation for man (His Calendar of Redemption) is marked and REHEARSED by The Feasts of THE LORD, all of which our LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST fulfills.

Again, THE LORD says “these are MY Feasts.” They are GOD’s “Appointed Feasts” which we are to “proclaim at their Appointed times,” (Isaiah 33:20; Leviticus 23:4).

Again, I say that GOD meets His people at The Appointed Feasts, (Leviticus 23:1-7). It is a great mystery revealed, that special portals are opened from Heaven to earth during The Feasts of THE LORD.

How can a believer deny himself these Divine Appointments?

I shared this revelation publicly on His Kingdom Prophecy in 2020. At the end of 2021, I was delighted to hear Troy Brewer sharing similar revelations that GOD shows up to meet with us at these Appointed Times of The Feasts of THE LORD. It is a ‘must watch’. Please watch on YouTube here.

(On a different note, in April 2020, I also wrote a word “You Need To Be Leaning On Jesus’ Breast Every Moment of Your Breath” as THE HOLY SPIRIT had revealed It to me: that we need to put our head in The Bosom of JESUS like John so as to know and do THE LORD’s Will always.

Now, there are seven Feasts of THE LORD, as He commanded in Leviticus 23. Being the rehearsals of The Salvation Plan of GOD fulfilled by CHRIST JESUS our LORD, we bless GOD and are blessed when we celebrate them.

When you are doing rehearsals, say, of a television show, a theater production, a choir ministration, you do it exactly as it will be done on the occasion of the actual performance.

And there is much excitement looking forward to the day itself.

Rehearsals provide appetising foretaste of what is to come.

This is what our celebration of The Feasts of THE LORD are to achieve for GOD and us, as well as the great blessings thereof from GOD to us. For GOD visits us SPECIFICALLY during The Feasts.

Again, The Feasts of THE LORD are of GREAT importance with deep, eternal meaning for GOD and for us His children.

It is a very important Spiritual understanding to have and walk in, that, THE LORD shows up in special ways with special blessings during The Feasts of THE LORD.

Paul understood the Divine significance of The Feasts of THE LORD, and celebrated them, even saying at one point, “I must by all means keep this coming Feast in Jerusalem.” (Acts 18:21).

Furthermore, as written,

“Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he would not have to spend time in Asia; for he was hurrying to be at Jerusalem, if possible, on The Day of Pentecost,” Acts 20:16.

And, referring to The Passover and The Life of Holiness in CHRIST, Paul COMMANDED:

“Therefore let us keep The Feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with The Unleavened Bread of Sincerity and Truth.” 1 Corinthians 5:8.

THE HOLY SPIRIT is calling and cautioning The Church to celebrate The Feasts of THE LORD in these final hours as The Second Coming of our LORD JESUS CHRIST draws ever closer.

I had a dream in October 2018 in which I was telling about three or four people something along the lines:

“GOD has not put in His Word the Birthday of His SON but people claim to celebrate The Birthday of CHRIST on 25th December.

The Church does not celebrate The Feasts of THE LORD. Even the one they celebrate [i.e. Passover, wrongly named as “Easter”] is increasingly on the wrong date. GOD is removing it from His Calendar!”

Therefore, with Spiritual understanding, obedience, thanksgiving and reverence, let us celebrate The Feasts of THE LORD for THE LORD, in THE LORD, through THE LORD, with THE LORD.

Celebrating The Feasts of THE LORD Under The New Covenant

Now, THE HOLY SPIRIT has shown me repeatedly, that, under The New Covenant, The Feasts of THE LORD are celebrated with serious Spiritual activities more than physical activities of religion as happened under The Old Covenant.

For example, when eating The Passover with His disciples, THE LORD JESUS established and proclaimed The New Covenant in His BLOOD, and then they got into praise and worship.

Likewise, during The Feast of Firstfruits, His disciples were ASSEMBLED when JESUS rose from the dead and ascended to THE FATHER with His Own BLOOD, came back later the same day and appeared to them in the evening.

Additionally, The Day of Pentecost (The Feast of Weeks) was spent in prayers and supplications for The HOLY SPIRIT and undertaking evangelism outreach.

The Feasts of THE LORD are thus celebrated with deeper Spiritual significance under The New Covenant.

Jacob, an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by The Will of GOD, according to The Promise of Life Which is in CHRIST JESUS, (2 Timothy 1:1).
Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always.  What’s in His Heart is what matters now and FOREVER.  His Heart’s Desire is my only desire. My will is to do His Will.
As John was, I am the disciple whom JESUS loves. And like Paul, I am “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
NB. Surely, the disciple whom JESUS loves and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He [JESUS] became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
