Caught Between a Rock and a Hard Place
The Church is caught between two places.
The hardness is hard in both directions, and each direction is NOT the right direction in which they are going. But the Church is caught between, and is stuck in a perilous situation.
The fact is, The Kingdom of God is not The United States of America. America — or any other Nation on Earth — is not God’s Kingdom!
The Body of Christ have a Heavenly Kingdom. The Body will never be part of the kingdoms surrounding them, because they are surrounded by Earthly kingdoms, but never part of them.
It is false to think The Church is to run this present kingdom in which they live, but they are just stuck there to be a witness of a better and Heavenly Kingdom, which will soon come down and consume all earthly kingdoms.
In that day, when the Kingdom of Heaven comes down, then the King of that Kingdom will rule over all the Earth and the Heavenly Kingdom will be his home base.
The fact is, we belong to The Kingdom of God which is awaiting the coming Kingdom of Heaven.
Never are we to think this present Kingdom or nation in which we find ourselves living is to be ruled by us.
The fact is we will not see the kingdoms of Earth ruled forever, but, they will all fall and only one Kingdom will remain forever:
The Heavenly Kingdom is commonly referred to as The Eternal Kingdom of God.
At this present time then, The Church is stuck in between.
We are here but we are not in our Kingdom. This Earthly kingdom is not now or ever will be our Eternal Kingdom.
The problem now is we are subject to an Earthly Kingdom with an Earthly King. The subjugation is most perilous indeed, for this Earthly Kingdom does not even know or recognize the real and only Kingdom or its King!
We can only be witnesses to them now of the coming Kingdom, and the coming King.
Questions:
These are the questions then:
Are we to seek to rule this Kingdom now, and force this present Kingdom or Earthly Kingdoms to be like God’s Kingdom?
Is the Church to seek to rule now this Kingdom?
Answer:
NO. Because the Heavenly King is coming soon, and then He will take up the rule over all kingdoms.
The Bible declares that Jesus Christ is coming back to this Earth in body and when He arrives, then He will set up His Heavenly Kingdom upon the Earth. Literally, His Kingdom will come down from Heaven with Him, and He will rule in it.
Between now and then, we are stuck in this Earthly Kingdom(s) awaiting the King.
Scripture:
“Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof was terrible.
This image’s head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, his legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.
Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.
And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.” Daniel 2:31-45.
More Scripture:
“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” Revelation 21:1-5.

You explained what Holy Spirit gave you to say very well. It makes my heart ponder over something that I prayed and as to whether I prayed incorrectly. I am waiting to see what Holy Spirit will tell me. I followed your message and in as good as it is, perhaps, I’m too tired to absorb it fully. I know that Holy Spirit did speak to you and wonder why I’m not fully comprehending the message.
I know that when Jesus returns that He is bringing the New Jerusalem with Him. He will wipe away our tears. Therefore, is it wrong to see America as being touched by Holy Spirit and to be revived and have the River of Life flowing through her and that this River of Life will flow to other nations? Is it wrong to ask God to pour out the latter rain and to see Jesus standing with tears streaming down His cheeks because of the revival of hardened hearts return to softened hearts with a hunger for God as never before. The people’s worship and praise unto Him with much adoration move the heart of the King of kings and Lord of lords so much so that He stands and has tears of joy streaming down His cheeks.
I’m questioning this as I don’t want to be in error nor to mislead others in error. I am presenting this before Holy Spirit and do not want to grieve Him by interceding and seeing incorrectly? I had a peace when I wrote it and now am wondering if I may have erred? Has Holy Spirit sent you to speak to me?
