Catch the wave of His Glory
“Therefore we do not become discouraged (utterly spiritless, exhausted, and wearied out through fear). Though our outer man is [progressively] decaying and wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day after day.
For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!],
Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting,” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (AMP).
Some time ago the Lord told me that we would not pass this way again. As time is moving forward, and changes are happening quickly, I know your hearts long for the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, to behold His beauty and Glory…. and nothing can touch that.
So lets not give ourselves over to discouragement or fear, for the Lord is doing an eternal work in you right now. These “distresses of the hour” are producing something precious and eternal in you, a “vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!”
Do not forget the Lord never leaves your side, and is helping you to accomplish His purpose… you are not in this race alone, nor do you have to come up with the strength to endure these days, for He is your portion.
Look up, your redemption draws near….. its moving quickly now, put your faith into action and keep your eyes on the eternal, the everlasting.
In 2 Corinthians 5:1-2 we read, “For we know that if the tent which is our earthly home is destroyed (dissolved), we have from God a building, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Here indeed, in this (present abode, body), we sigh and groan inwardly, because we yearn to be clothed over (we yearn to put on our celestial body like a garment, to be fitted out) with our heavenly dwelling.”
Also, in Zechariah 13:9 it says, “And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, and I will hear and answer them. I will say, It is My people; and they will say The Lord is my God.”
Be encouraged beloved, for this is not the end. Keep your eyes single for the Lord and because He is your shepherd He will lead you through. This mortal will put on immortality and death will be swallowed up in victory…. the victory has already been won, just lean into the wind of the Spirit, lean on the everlasting arms of Jesus, and do not fear the fire, for you will come through it refined and purified for His purpose.
Catch the wave of His glory and let it carry you to Him… .and rise above.
May the Lord bless you and keep you,
