We are living in a time of unprecedented change and upheaval, both globally and personally.

It’s a season of shaking and sifting, but believers will rise stronger and more radiant if we hold our ground.

We’ll then discover a strength that we never knew we had. The LORD wants to demonstrate His sovereignty through our lives.

He wants to demonstrate the power of The Holy Spirit through us just as it was in The Book of Acts.

However, we have a challenge on our hands. The enemy is doing all that he could to distract, discourage, and disarm us, but we can’t let him succeed.

We could turn this chaotic season into a launching pad for a remarkable revival, if we choose to rise up and seize the opportunity.

Jesus said “these signs shall follow those who believe” (Mark 16:17-18) —- and He is looking for believers whom He can trust with His anointing, those who are as gold rather than gold plated.

This past weekend marked the start of the Olympics, beginning with the opening ceremony. T he Olympics are a global event where thousands of top athletes from 206 Countries from around the world gather to compete in various sports.

The Opening Ceremony which was supposed to be meant for celebration, freedom and unity, was marred by blaspheming The Last Supper.

People from around the world were furious that they would disrespect such a sacred thing.

The Last Supper is when Jesus first introduced communion to the apostles. Communion is much more than just a religious tradition.

It symbolizes Jesus dying and shedding His Blood for us. It symbolizes The Blood Covenant that we now have with Him.

When we partake of the Bread (representing Jesus’ body), we are acknowledging Jesus dying for us.

When we partake of the Cup (representing Jesus’ blood) we are remembering that Jesus delivered us from sin.

The Opening Ceremony also had a famous rapper wearing a large demonic Baphomet necklace (goat-headed figure with wings, breasts, and a torch).

There was also an iron man riding a glittery metal horse across the water which appeared to represent the pale horse of death and Hades mentioned in the book of Revelation chapter 6.

There was also a huge set of wings behind it which were not symbolic of angelic wings.

I didn’t even watch any of the Olympics, but after reading the peoples reviews on the internet, I did some research and watched video clips of the opening scenes.

I’m a Seer (prophetic seer, NOT psychic) so I’m familiar with symbolism and allegories.

This was without a doubt mocking Jesus himself, and promoting idolatry. Its anti-Christian themes and messages took darkness to a new level, leaving a disturbing impression on many people.

They had a huge golden bull’s head that seemed to resemble the golden calf mentioned in the book of Exodus chapter 32.

While Moses was on Mount Sinai communing with God, the Israelites became impatient and told Aaron, that they’ve been waiting long enough for Moses to return, so they demanded that Aaron create a god to lead them. Aaron gathered all their gold earrings and fashioned them into a golden calf.

They worshiped it and sacrificed to it, saying: “this is your god, O Israel that brought you out of the land of Egypt!”

Meanwhile, Moses was pleading with God not to destroy them. He went down from the mountain carrying the Ten Commandments written on stone.

They were personally engraved by the hand of God. When he saw the golden calf, and the people dancing, and worshipping, he became angry and broke the tablets at the foot of the mountain.

Moses destroyed the golden calf and burned it in the fire. He then pulverized the gold into a fine powder, threw it into the water, and made them drink it.

Now please note, we are no longer under The Law of the Old Covenant, and God no longer judges us as He did in the Old Testament era.

However, we’re witnessing the same spiritual parallels repeating themselves, offering us insights and valuable lessons from the past.

The adversary has a strategy to disconnect us from God, but it’s time for us to reunite, refocus and realign our priorities.

Jesus wants to demonstrate His power through us. In Paul’s second letter to the Corinthian Church he wrote: My speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

The LORD wants to use us in an extraordinary way. If we refuse what He has for us, then someone else will come in with a counterfeit.

He wants to put His sovereignty on display. He wants to turn this present day chaos into a catalyst for an awakening, and He wants to use us to do it.

“And Moses turned and went down from the mountain, and the two tablets of the Testimony were in his hand. The tablets were written on both sides; on the one side and on the other they were written. Now the tablets were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God engraved on the tablets. And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said to Moses, “There is a noise of war in the camp.” But he said: “It is not the noise of the shout of victory, Nor the noise of the cry of defeat, But the sound of singing I hear.” So it was, as soon as he came near the camp, that he saw the calf and the dancing. So Moses’ anger became hot, and he cast the tablets out of his hands and broke them at the foot of the mountain. Then he took the calf which they had made, burned it in the fire, and ground it to powder; and he scattered it on the water and made the children of Israel drink it.” Exodus 32:15-20.

“When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a pale horse. And the name of him who sat on it was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.” Revelation 6:7- 8.
