Can the devil stop God and hurt people?

Yes he can. He is like a roaring lion going about seeking ways to kill, steal, and destroy!

One way he kills is telling people God no longer wants them to give.

I am deeply impressed with the need for teaching about giving, which I have heard The LORD speaking.

The reason is, at this moment in the history of God’s church, there is a huge false doctrine started, and that is to stop God.

The enemy has of course always worked in this area of money and things given to God. There seems to be a greater emphasis of false teaching raising up today, that is coming form a place known as hurt or bitterness.

The fact is aided by the fact that many preachers who have abused giving — by living lavish life styles — have placed many under bondage to their greed.

Just because some have abused this area, does not give us the right to throw out giving.

The fact is, this abuse is from a common source [the old red dragon who wants to destroy God and his people] and there has always been a huge discussion over tithing, which many have tried to put forward, that it is under the law, and not even commanded in the Church.

Is this true? Is there no concern any longer that God wants us to not tithe?

Is this a fact? I do not think it is…..

For one thing, then those who throw out tithing because it is found in the Old Testament need to understand, where do you stop throwing things out, just because they are in the Old Testament?

Do you think not, just because we are under a new covenant which is grace, merited upon the Blood of Jesus Christ for eternal life by faith and freely given as a gift by grace, that we are somehow not supposed to be even concerned about the elements of the law?

What about idols? Is it now okay to have idols? [Money, self, television, sex, houses, over God, even religious idols?].

Or…. what about murder? Is it somehow now [because we are under grace] given the right to abort babies? [murder unborn and born children?]

Or what about adultery? What about coveting? And so on….

Are we no longer to even believe these principles are no longer real?

What does the Scripture say about the passing of the law? It says “My Law will never pass away.” it is eternal.

But what we should understand is that now that we are saved with the blessed Holy Spirit inside each believer. We now have the power to live and walk out the law.

We are not bound to keep it to be saved. But, are we now free from all the law, to live lawlessly? I think not.

Yes, Jesus kept the law for us… but.. are we no longer to even see it as important?

Personally, I have talked with The LORD about this subject. [I know that this is my word now, and you wonder… “Did he really talk to God?”].

All I can say is try it and see if what I heard follow through in Scripture.

The LORD talked about giving as very, very important today. He did not say tithing was not good anymore, and at the same time He said: now that you are saved and secure…. more will be required of you.

In other words, God will want more than a tithe now that we are eternally secure and in the spirit, sons of God!

I have had The LORD rebuke me personally when I did not tithe!

Yes, that is my personal testimony. He said to me: “Are you going now to give the tithe?”

He went on and told me to give it — if I wanted to do right with him.

It did not come across to me that somehow he had thrown out tithing! Just the opposite.

But then He added, “Much more now I will ask of you.”

We are literally told to give, because when we give, God uses us to advance His Kingdom. Now that we can even more than ever — give our very all, for the Kingdom of God.

Like the man Jesus talked about who found a treasure in a field and went and bought the field. And I take it, he thought it so important that if it cost everything, he would buy it.

No, The LORD has not said to not give. Wither or not you call it a tithe or not, He said, “Give!” And He watches to see what you give.

What about the testimonies of great Christians who gave and believed in tithing, and in some cases they were led to give more than 10 percent?

I remember the testimony of one great christian: R. G. Letourneau, founder of Le Tourneau University, Longview, Texas, who begin as a young man to give 10 percent of all his income, and was so blessed by the blessings come in his business, he kept increasing the tithe more and more and more, until he was tithing 90 percent before ye died — yet he died a billionaire!

He proved that tithing was a good way to yet give, and even increased it!

On numerous occasions as a minister I have had needs to do the things God has told me to do… such as finance a tent ministry, which is very expensive…or build a huge safe place with huge earth walls in the desert, [way beyond my means and financial abilities].

I asked The LORD, “How? I do not have the money!”

He said, “I AM sending someone with the money!” Well, time passed and a few came with money, which did help, but still I needed more.

I asked The LORD: “What do I do? I still don’t have the money needed and things like equipment etc…”

He said to me… Now hear this for it is important….

He said, “But they would not give or come…..”

So now I will have to do something else. He explained, “I spoke to many to give… but…. they would not!”

Do you see with me that this explains something God is saying to us?

He is saying, “I want to use My People to give to supply the needs for all the work.”

Literally, God will call upon His People to give the needed things — to do the work! But if they will not obey him….??? What then???? He will be hindered!

Now someone just said, “But God can do it Himself!”

And of course the answer is, Yes He can… And not only that, there is nothing He cannot do!

God is saying to me, “I could bring a pile of money and place it on your living room floor. You could get up in the morning and there it would be a huge pile of money.

I could do it… but… I want to use My People. I want to do it through them!”

Perhaps I should stop now [having said the above] and say this….

Can you now see how the devil speaks into the ears of “God’s people” and tells them lies about giving — just to stop God’s work and advancement?

If you think the devil is not capable of talking into your ear, you are deliberately ignorant.

The enemy can. I do not glorify him, but say this he is as a roaring lion going about seeking who he can destroy!

I having been led by His Holy Spirit to write. I have thus written, even as I hear it…

LORD, open the eyes of your people and cause them to see the importance of this Word.

“For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled,” Matthew 5:18.
