Death to your vision!

Death to your vision: Nevertheless, Lord not my will, but your will be done!

You see, many times people think they are in control of their lives when in all actuality, they are not!

The Chief Priests, the officers, the Jews and Pilate, all thought they were in control of Jesus’ life; but in all actuality it was God who was controlling the destiny of Jesus! Its was not fate, but it was the will of God that had been (by prophets of Old and John the Baptist) prophesied!

I hear God saying the same thing to His people tonight, that Jesus spoke to Pilate saying, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise” (John 5:19).

You see, Pilate thought he had power to crucify Jesus, but Jesus was letting him know that without God’s permission, Pilate could have no power at all! In fact Jesus was saying that He himself didn’t even have power over His own life!

So, don’t allow the enemy to rattle your cage because He can’t do no more than what the Father allows him to do in your life!

I hear God saying that the carnal mind will never be able to comprehend the things of God! Just as the Jews who was always questioning Jesus saying He was trying to make Himself equal to God! There will always be those who will bring trouble in your life, but it is only a distraction from Satan trying to rattle your cage!

Just like you, Jesus was simply trying to fulfill His destiny as the Son of Man! Isn’t that just like man, to try to and do all they can to break you down to there standards of living, all because they can’t understand both the plan and the assignment of God, but Jesus never gave in! No! Not one inch!

At times He would speak and there were times when He would not speak, even when He knew the answer, but either way, when He did, He always left the people more astonished than He did before scratching their heads in disbelief! Leaving them wanting to kill him, wanting to hear more, or even wanting to kill him all together!

It was not an enemy who did this, but it was His own people, the ones that took company with him and should have understood Him! Just as it will be for you in this season, but I hear God saying you will have to be like Jesus and to humble yourself, even to the death of the cross!

I’m sure there were times when it seemed that Jesus wanted to fight back and even call a legion of angels to fight His battle, but He did not! Instead He submitted Himself to the will of God; not fighting back (none of His bones were broken), but fulfilling His God given destiny!

Building upon a sure Foundation

This morning in prayer I heard God say, ‘Building upon a sure foundation; and to be careful how you build!”

Thus saith The Lord God, “Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation (can not be torn down): he that believeth shall not make haste. I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plumb line; hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie, and water will overflow your hiding place. (Isaiah 28:16-17)

I heard God saying that many are building upon the wrong foundation, but what they are building is not eternal and it will be pulled down in this season! God is calling for true holiness and it is no time for the saints of God to become complacent and giving in to the views and the values of man!

Many leaders (both saved and unsaved) have begun to devalue their beliefs and God is not interested in why you are doing it; but just that it is wrong! Will God bring judgement without warning? No! In fact he will send some one to tell you about your sins before judgement is sent!

Many folks are being warned in this season; but are refusing to heed the warning! I heard God speaking and He is telling His people it does not matter who you are when you sin; judgement will follow! Just as it did with the leaders, and kings in the latter days: Jesus Christ the same yesterday and forever! Whenever they sinned and began doing there own thing; judgement followed!

You see, God spoke to me to tell His people that when Jeroboam sinned, it was God who split the kingdom under the throne of David and gave Israel to Jeroboam. For this, God expected Jeroboam to do what is right in His eyes and to walk in His ways. Jeroboam had done the opposite (just as President Obama, leaders in the church who have backslidden, Oprah Winfrey and many others) and set up many altars for other idols of worship.

God pronounced judgment on Jeroboam when He sent his wife to Elijah to inquire of The Lord. The judgement was that his sick son will die, but will be the only one of his family to be buried, because he was still pure, but the others will be eaten by dogs and birds (1 Kings 14).

God spoke to me that many times that we (the world/ church) think that it is we who are providing our own selves positions, titles, and wealth; but in fact it is God who elevates and exalts man and not man himself! (1 Samuel 2:7) Without God, you can do nothing; you couldn’t even breathe without him, and neither could you have woken up this morning without God in your life!

God said that many of you are failing to acknowledge Him in your decision-making and your everyday life, and this is why you are going to fail, and you will not be successful in this season!

I hear God saying, ”Before I formed you in the womb, I called you to speak from a youth telling you to go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you,” says the lord.

Then The Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and The Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out and to pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant.” That means I don’t care who it is – if they are not built upon that true foundation, they will not stand, saith The Lord!

Speak and do not be afraid of their ugly faces, for I AM with you, saith The Lord! It is time to arise, saith The Lord, like never before the enemy is doing all that he can to silence the things of God and the people of God in this very hour!

God is calling for true holiness; who side are you leaning on this morning!
