Building the Church
Jesus wants His followers to operate in their gifts.
This is shown in Romans 12:8 as it says:
If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging.
If it is giving, give generously.
If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously.
And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
Those who are weak Christians, do not operate in their gifts Jesus has given them.
Those who are strong Christians do operate in their gifts and have partnered with the Holy Spirit to develop their gifts — often through lots of practice and receiving correction and instruction through the Holy Spirit’s guidance.
Jesus is “cutting the fat” when it comes to His followers.
Those who are weak, He is allowing them to go the way of the world. And to those that are strong, He will help them learn what their gifts are and develop in them in order to build up the church.
Many Christians are falling away, however, those that are staying true to Jesus are growing stronger. Over the next 5 to 10 years, Jesus’ true believers may seem smaller, but they will be more potent.
The Holy Spirit says:
“My People, it is time to come to Me. Repent and come to Me.
There are many who are not taking their lives seriously. They put me further down the list and I want to be number 1.
Look to put Me on top. Look to make Me your life — not just a part of your life.
I want to move through you.
I want you to operate in your life and I want you to see miracles and even become a miracle.
I want people to look at you and be amazed because they see Me in you.
I will do great and mighty things in ALL those who truly lay down their life and follow Me.
Come to Me and learn from Me. I will show you what gift you have and I will allow you to grow in that gift too.
Come to Me for I miss being with you. I want to be with you constantly, but you need to come to Me and heed My instructions for your life.
I AM in charge, not you. I establish your steps, so please don’t plan them. Life works better when I AM in charge and your life is surrendered to Me.
Now, hurry to Me for I will show you many hopeful things I have planned for you.
I Love you.”
