Brokenness
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed,” Psalms 34:18.
My child, true wholehearted brokenness before Me is not a sign of weakness, but rather a sign you are making progress in your Kingdom walk. You must be willing to yield to the work I must do to bring you to the fullness of your spiritual destiny in Me. You are the clay and I am the Good Potter. But unlike natural clay, you can choose to stiffen yourself and resist My hands as I come to shape you into My image.
Although many confess Me as Lord with their lips, they are not willing to allow Me to do the deep heart (soul) work that is essential to walking in complete unity with Me. It was not a mere chance that the Scriptures record My challenge and testing in the garden the night I was betrayed. I too had to submit My will to the Father. It was not easy or painless on My flesh, but it was the most important declaration revealing My total submission and commitment in love to My father: “Not My will, but Thy will be done.”
My dear one, discipline is never easy but it is needed to reveal the areas that resist the working of My Spirit in your soul. The unrenewed (unworked) mind is stiff, ridged, unteachable, and will not yield to My gentle touch. The natural potter works the clay by adding water to soften it so it can be molded properly. If the clay is not mixed and softened it can never become what it was meant to be. It will never withstand the heat of the oven and will crumble and be thrown out as useless.
Many have proclaimed correctly that this year is a time of change: turn around. Do not resist the process of being worked on the Good Potter’s wheel. You were meant to be shaped into a vessel fit for a king and so it shall be. Be willing to respond to My touch. Not all of the remolding is correction, but all of My work is for the purpose of conforming you to My image and likeness.
My child, to those who are given much, much is required. Remember, I am walking through this with you. I will never forsake you. Stay pliable in My hands and you will see My glory. Even more than just seeing Me in glory, I will clothe you with My glory as we truly become one.
Be comforted, yes, even in your time on the Potter’s wheel. Much is being accomplished. This must be done before you can step into the final days. The work ahead is not like any revival harvest that has gone before. It is truly the manifestation of the Sons of God who will reap the nations with Me. I release My grace and mercy upon you now as I command you to stay on the wheel until I have perfected and finished My work in you. Shalom.
“Then I went down to the potter’s house, and there he was, making something at the wheel. And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter; so he made it again into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to make,” Jeremiah 18:3-4, NKJV.
