Breakthrough and Victory
It is 5:00 a.m. and I hear The LORD say, “DO NOT GIVE UP! But CONTINUE YOUR PRAYERS.
For it is with continued prayers, worship, and warfare that you will push down the wall around the city, destroy the enemy and come forth in VICTORY!”
I asked, “What do you mean, LORD?”
Then The LORD showed me a city surrounded by a fenced wall. The enemy had walled themselves in, behind a huge fence and they thought they were safe, so that they could continue their nightly forays against the children of God in the dark, to keep from being seen.
STEALING and DESTROYING everything in their path in many varied ways. The enemy thought he wouldn’t be recognized, but he let his pride get in the way. The enemy forgot The LORD sees and hears everything.
We had not heard from our leader in days and it was like the enemy was trying to steal His voice from the earth, so we would no longer hear Him or know freedom.
Then I heard the voices of The Army of The LORD rising up and singing.
“Let God Arise! Let God Arise! Let God Arise! Let God Arise! Let God Arise! Let His enemies be scattered…” [ MEDLEY: LET GOD ARISE! / IT IS GOOD / RONI RONI with lyrics — Paul Wilbur 6:42 ]
Later I heard them singing, “Rejoice! Rejoice! Daughter of Zion…” [[ MEDLEY: LET GOD ARISE! / IT IS GOOD / RONI RONI with lyrics – Paul Wilbur 6:42 ]
With this the Army went into praying. Then they switched back to worshiping and it grew louder and LOUDER!
I could hear, “In Your Presence, that’s where I am strong. In Your Presence, O’ Lord, my God. In Your Presence, that’s where I belong. Seeking Your Face, Touching Your Grace. In the cleft of the Rock. In Your Presence O’ God…[ In Your Presence O ’God with lyrics – Paul Wilbur 8:49 ]
Then The LORD reminded of Joshua and the Israelites marching around Jericho. (Joshua 6) There were some similarities to what I was seeing in my vision.
Jericho was a town fenced in with high walls. (Joshua 6:1) The Israelites were being kept out of Jericho, (Joshua 6:1) EXCEPT FOR The LORD, and HIS PLANS to DELIVER JERICHO from its evil handlers.
Then The LORD took me back to watch again, as the army of The LORD sang, waves of HIS GLORY began to appear and rise.
The GLORY CLOUD went up over the army, covering them, like fog. It grew and GREW around the army to further protect them. As the GLORY expanded it pushed forward to the walls and PUSHED ON THE WALLS. NOTHING COULD HOLD IT BACK!
The worship began to intensify and grew even LOUDER, as more of the army joined in worshiping the GOD of Heaven and earth.
Then I began to hear voices from across the world, as they began to join their voices with the army of GOD in worshiping The LORD.
They too were tired of the shenanigans of the enemy, as the tricks, deceit, perversion, lies, death, and destruction had tried to keep a cloud of confusion and blindness over the people of the earth, to keep them from BREAKTHROUGH AND VICTORY.
But the people of the world were also now resisting the enemy through prayer, fasting, repentance, worship, and warfare. Even those who didn’t know GOD were calling out to HIM to rescue them and joining in the worship.
They were asking for SIGNS, WONDERS, AND MIRACLES, that the enemy would be defeated, once and for all, by The LORD, so they could truly have FREEDOM to worship HIM!
They were speaking God’s truth in DECLARATIONS as their eyes had been opened and they no longer believed the lies from the enemy’s camp that came out through gossip, slander, and propaganda to destroy the lives of the children of God and the people of the earth.
Then I heard those in the army declaring, “The LORD, He Is God. We come to Worship Him. He Is the only Holy God.”
The praises of everyone began getting LOUDER and LOUDER and LOUDER. In so doing they were joining across the waters and land, as the GLORY INCREASED.
The GLORY spread to cover the whole fenced in city and beyond.
Under the cloud of GLORY, the worship continued and as the worship and prayers across the world continued the GLORY CLOUD continued to GROW.
LOUDER and LOUDER the praises raised and became LOUDER and LOUDER ACROSS THE WORLD.
I looked up in the heavenlies and saw the release that seemed like trillions of angelic beings ready for war, some on horseback, some flying, others moving so fast I just saw blurs of light and knew it to be another type of angelic being joining in the fight for good against evil.
As they ripped through the clouds of confusion and blindedness, that have tried to envelope the children of God and the people of the world, I could hear and see SWORDS slashing, BRILLIANT LIGHTENING FLASHING, HUGE BALLS OF HAIL FALLING, and THUNDER seeming to pound as the hoofbeats of the horses was so loud as they came across the skies.
So many other sights and sounds that I knew were from the warfare that was taking place, some that I couldn’t see or even have words to describe everything, there was so much going on!
Then everything got still and out of the quietness a mighty LION ROARED. The LION OF JUDAH rose and the enemy scattered, trying to escape wherever they found a route to go, or somewhere they thought they could hide.
But they forgot, again, in their pride, The LORD sees all and knows all. The LORD fights for His children. The LORD is faithful and true. He does not lie nor relent from his promises.
With most of the enemy captured and a few still running for their lives, I saw the army of GOD’s people closing in on them quickly. The GLORY of The LORD had taken care of many.
As I watched the walls around the city came tumbling down, both in the spiritual realm and the physical realm, for The LORD does a thorough job, when he decides to finish something. He doesn’t leave leftovers, without repentance. There were those who refused to repent, because of their reprobate state. These sealed their fate and will find hell as their home forever.
I knew that this city that was once behind the walls and behind enemy lines of secret societies and occult oppression was no longer a city of the enemy, but a city of The LORD and that the days ahead would find it restored over time, as long as they followed The LORD, with their whole hearts.
“1 NOW JERICHO [a fenced town with high walls] was tightly closed because of the Israelites; no one went out or came in. 2 And The LORD said to Joshua, “See, I have given Jericho, its king and mighty men of valor, into your hands. 3 You shall march around the enclosure, all the men of war going around the city once. This you shall do for six days. 4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns; and on the seventh day you shall march around the enclosure seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets. 5 When they make a long blast with the ram’s horn and you hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout; and the wall of the enclosure shall fall down in its place and the people shall go up [over it ], every man straight before him.”
6 So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and said to them, “Take up the ark of the covenant and let seven priests bear seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of The LORD.” 7 He said to the people, “Go on! March around the enclosure, and let the armed men pass on before the ark of The LORD.” 8 When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns passed on before The LORD and blew the trumpets, and the ark of the covenant of The LORD followed them.
9 The armed men went before the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard came after the ark, the priests blowing the trumpets as they went.
10 But Joshua commanded the people, “You shall not shout or let your voice be heard, nor shall any word proceed out of your mouth until the day I tell you to shout. Then you shall shout!”
11 So he caused the ark of The LORD to go around the city once; and they came into the camp and lodged in the camp.
12 Joshua rose early in the morning and the priests took up the ark of The LORD. 13 and the seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of The LORD passed on, blowing the trumpets continually; and the armed men went before them and the rear guard came after the ark of The LORD, the priests blowing the trumpets as they went.
14 On the second day they compassed the city enclosure once and returned to the camp. So they did for six days.
15 On the seventh day they rose early at daybreak and marched around the city as usual, only on the day they compassed the city seven times. 16 And the seventh time, when the priest had blown the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, “Shout! For The LORD has given you the city. 17 And the city and all that is in it shall be devoted to The LORD [for destruction]; only Rahab the harlot and all who are with her in her house shall live, because she hid the messengers whom we sent. 18 But you, keep yourselves from the accursed and devoted things, lest when you have devoted it [to destruction ]; you take of the accursed thing, and so make the camp of Israel accursed and trouble it. 19 But all the silver and gold and vessels of bronze and iron are consecrated to The LORD; they shall come into the treasury of The LORD.”
20 So the people shouted, and the trumpets were blown. When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, they raised a great shout, and [Jericho’s ] wall fell down in its place, so that the [Israelites ] went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. 21 Then they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, ox, sheep, and donkey, with the edge of the sword.
22 But Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, “Go into the harlot’s house and bring out the woman and all she has, as you swore to her.”
23 So the young men, the spies, went in and brought out Rahab, her father and mother, her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred and set them outside the camp of Israel.
24 And they burned the city with fire and all that was in it; only the silver, the gold, and the vessels of bronze and of iron they put into the treasury of the house of The LORD.
25 So Joshua saved Rahab the harlot, her father’s household and all that she had; and she lives in Israel even to this day, because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho.
26 Then Joshua laid this oath on them, “Cursed is the man before The LORD who rises up and rebuilds this city, Jericho. With the loss of his firstborn shall he lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son shall he set up its gates.” [1 Kings 16:34 ]
27 So The LORD was with Joshua, and his fame was in all the land.” Joshua 6:1-27 AMP.
God Bless You!
