“And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived. And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth,” Revelation 18:23-24.

In a prophetic encounter, the LORD showed me a candle and drew my attention to the above verses.

Where there has been grace and time given, the window of opportunity for His glory to be allowed back in to the religious institutions of men is being closed.

In the midst of the religious spirit, where religious protocols and traditions have squeezed out the glory of God, the LORD has been still giving grace and allowing His presence to come into many of these places.

But this is a season the LORD said to me that these places will become Ichabod (the Glory has departed) because the window of opportunity is shutting.

Not only is the house of the LORD to be a place of His abiding presence and glory but is to be a place where sons and daughters are released into destiny.

The sorceries spoken of here are not just the forms of witchcraft in the world which we should expect but the witchcraft WITHIN the house of God that denies God’s people the ability to rise up into the FULLNESS of POTENTIAL and DESTINY for which He has called them.

Many apostles, prophets, and fivefold ministry leaders are currently suffocating because the atmostphere in which they are planted is not conducive to allow them to arise into their full identity of who God has made them to be.

Jesus warned the church of Ephesus that if they did not repent and turn back to their first Love they would lose their candlestick which is His tangible presence, power, and glory.

To love Him first is to see His people catapulted into destiny and to fulfill their heavenly mandates and assignments from the LORD.

Jesus rebuked the Nicolaitans and their doctrine as they were known to be a group of religious, controlling leaders and also man-made religious systems that were installed in the midst of God’s people not permitting them to walk in the fullness of the King and His Kingdom.

The danger is we have many denominations, even networks and groups that place walls around them that if you do not belong to their specific group then you are excluded and marked out.

The Spirit of God is getting ready to release a movement of heaven into the earth that is going to shatter these walls of Jericho and to see the religious Babylon brought to it’s knees.

The spirit of competition and man-made platforms shall be replaced with the focus shifting back on the ONE, JESUS, the KING of GLORY.
