Blow That Trumpet in Zion!
“Sound the alarm in Jerusalem! Let the blast of the warning trumpet be heard upon My holy mountain!” Joel 2:1.
I keep thinking of what Prophet Jeremiah Johnson had a vision of. He saw the Spirit of Paul Revere coming upon the watchmen!
I believe there have been no truer words spoken as of late! It is time that the Church awakens and warns those that are in darkness.
I felt a heavy burden as I watched many events this past month around the world. The shootings, the fires, the hurricanes.
These came suddenly and caught many unawares! I wondered how many of them had received Jesus as their Savior?
I wondered who had been taken unaware and had slipped away not knowing THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE!
I hear The LORD saying, “It is time to wake up Church! It is time to ride that midnight trail that God has given you! There are souls in the balance!”
We have become used to seeing people die en-mass on an almost weekly if not daily basis!
I remember a time not too long ago when that would have been only a once a year or decade thing, (Yes, I am that old!)
We are becoming numb and complacent to it! Oh I know that this has not been a “popular” message but I am sensing the urgency in the Spirit for the watchmen to awaken!
Know that many are in fear of seeming too religious or judgmental!
But I tell you lives are at stake and their eternity is being sealed! What drug addict do you know that could overdose next?
What family member have we not told about Jesus?
I tell you tonight that the Harvest is awaiting! Oh I wish I didn’t feel this burden tonight but I do!
“So with you, son of dust. I have appointed you as a watchman for the people of Israel; therefore, listen to what I say and warn them for me. When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will die!’ and you don’t tell him what I say, so that he does not repent — that wicked person will die in his sins, but I will hold you responsible for his death. But if you warn him to repent and he doesn’t, he will die in his sins, and you will not be responsible.
O people of Israel, you are saying: ‘Our sins are heavy upon us; we pine away with guilt. How can we live?’ Tell them: ‘As I live, says the LORD God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; I desire that the wicked turn from his evil ways and live. Turn, turn from your wickedness, for why will you die, O Israel?” Ezekiel 33:7-11.
