The LORD began to show me a huge and shiny spider web.

I saw the spider hiding in a dark corner of the web just waiting. He had found his place. He surveyed the course.

He checked the wind, laid the foundation, and then made his web perfect placing some really sticky things on the web that would aid in the capture of its prey, but yet leaving only a few threads held tightly under his feet.

For you see, when the one he is waiting for hits the web, he feels the thread move under his feet and knows exactly where to go to find the prey and inject his poison. He simply hides in the dark shadows just waiting!

I could see some caught up in his web of defeat and would break free, but yet he will build it back again. One thing about the spider is it never quits and will try again.

I also saw others ensnared by this web that just could not seem to get free and that spider standing by watching them grow so weary and more tangled.

In the dark, invisible moments, the enemy has been weaving today, he will weave tomorrow and then weave some more. He waits secretly in the corner while we do not know it, and is as often in the palace as he is in the little shack beside the road.

All the while, he has his weaving going on. You may not even see it. You may not even know it’s there until one day you suddenly become stuck in it.

Then he comes with his poisonous venom only to drag you down further and to completely wrap you up in his web of deceit.

He laid out the large net while he stands in the darkness holding the other end of it.

As I looked at this web the Father showed to me, I saw how souls of men are caught…caught in deception…caught in trickery.

You have been deceived and tricked for a long time that your not good enough, that you don’t know enough Word, that you don’t have a title, that you will not see that breakthrough, he tells you that it just won’t happen and that you are not the one.

I am saying to you right now, “Yes, you are the one! God’s chosen one!

If you are stuck in that web, I break that lie’s power over your life.

Everything shall come together for you. I pray that you would be loosed from these webs that have held you down — whatever they are.

May these webs that have formed in your life be torn down and shall not be rebuilt in Jesus name. Receive the wings of an eagle and break out!”

The LORD reminds me of this quote to leave with you,

“When the devil whispers in your ear that you are not strong enough to withstand this storm, you whisper back in his ear,
“I am the Storm!”
