When the weight of this world is pressing down, RISE UP.
When you see oppression all around, RISE UP.
When men declare you are destined to fail, RISE UP.
The gates of Hell will not prevail, RISE UP!

When the enemy comes to steal men’s souls, RISE UP.
When you find yourself in a hole, RISE UP.
He has come to kill and steal, RISE UP.
In Christ we take him on with zeal, RISE UP!

When lies abound and truth seems lost, RISE UP.
When on a raging sea you’re tossed, RISE UP.
When the enemy tries to steal your joy, RISE UP.
He will not succeed in his ploy, RISE UP!

Now is the time to make your stand, RISE UP.
To proclaim Jesus’ name throughout the land, RISE UP.
No weapon formed against you will prosper here, RISE UP.
So there is no reason for you to fear, RISE UP!

Take heart for greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world. So although the enemy may try to push you down, he cannot keep you from RISING UP.
