Being Honest With Ourselves — 2 Comments

  1. The just shall by faith. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. He calls those things that are not as though they were. We are to be imitators of God. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Whosoever shall say to this mountain…shall have whatsoever he says.
Truth trumps facts! I speak truth to myself. I speak truth to my feelings. Not facts! Abraham believed God and He accounted it as righteousness to him. Being single minded in who God says I am IN THE I AM! God placed me in Christ! I now am reconciled, redeemed, cleansed, justified, righteous, sanctified, healed, holy, blessed, chosen, elect, son, saint, protected, directed, apple of His eye, in the palm of His hand, king, priest unto my God! I say these things because they are the truth! Faith comes the more I say the truth. Soon we are transformed into the image of THE TRUTH, THE WAY, THE LIFE! Confidence in Him, in His Word, comes!
Pride cannot come because I’ve had NOTHING to do with making any of this possible. ITS ALL JESUS, ALL THE TIME! Apart from Him I can do nothing! Being yoked to Him, I begin to think, talk, walk, and take on all of His attributes. The peace of God guards my heart and mind in Christ Jesus! Transformed by beholding HIM! He is the Author and FINISHER of my faith! I believe and receive Him and every thing about Him. To be like Christ is not just my goal, it is His, He will finish it.
All Glory, Honor, Power, Dominion to the King Jesus!
    Amen!

    • Indeed, Marc, all glory, honor, power, dominion to the King Jesus! I love this part of your comment:”Truth trumps facts! I speak truth to myself. I speak truth to my feelings.” I realize more and more the power of For the moment, all Discipline is painful rather than pleasant but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who are trained by it. Again, We come to a crossroad of discipline to tell our feelings to be still many times and listen to our spirit as we speak truth to ourselves. Thanks, Marc, for your powerful input. Blessings, my friend, Sandi
