Being Blinded By The Light
Last night I had a dream that I was going to this particular Church, but when I got there, no one was there except me and this pastor I knew!
But as I stayed, there I noticed the walls were bright, illuminated, and there was this very bright light. As long as I looked at this leader, I couldn’t see the light and I became blinded; but if I kept my eyes on this light, the light did not hurt my eyesight.
As I was in the dream, I kept feeling like I had came to this church, but my spouse did not want me to be there! Also, I remember telling the leader why I wasn’t attending this church. Even though he seemed to welcome me there, the atmosphere wasn’t conducive with what my heart was feeling.
Light: Christ or God, revelation or illumination, a guide to the right way, and fellowship.
Blind: Spiritually blind, in the dark, behind the veil, unbelievers, harden heart, hatred, and or the lack of faith.
Revelation and Application
The LORD is saying that He is the head of the church and not man!
So, many pastors and other leaders have begun to place the Holy Spirit in a box! He said that many leaders have forgotten that they are not the true shepherd, but are called to be the under-shepherds of the flock!
The LORD revealed to me that the reason this church was bright and illuminated, is because this is the revelation He wants revealed to the church! He said, “Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind; neither as being LORD’s over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away,” (1 Peter 5:2-4).
The LORD has called many to work for Him and to be His under-shepherds in the Kingdom of God. Now how is it that you have caused God’s flock to look to you, instead of the true shepherd, just as it was in the dream God gave me? For many are causing the sheep to look to them, instead of God Almighty!
You see, apostle Paul was a man also full of pride and he also thought what he was doing was in the best interest of the church. But God had to send judgment upon him in order to get his attention.
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: and he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, “Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou Me?” (You see, when you hurt the body of Christ it is not only the people you are hurting but God!)
And he said, “Who art thou, LORD?” And the LORD said, “I AM Jesus whom thou persecutest. It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.” And he trembling and astonished and said, “LORD, what wilt thou have me to do?” And the LORD said unto him, “Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do,” (Acts 9:3-6).
For, I hear the LORD saying that He is working on the hearts of many in this season and like the woman in the dream, many have lost their place in the body of Christ and they have become disobedient to their husband! Who is the husbandman? The husband in this dream is Jesus, God and or your natural husband! For, the scripture says, “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the LORD,” (Ephesians 5:22).
God is warning the body of Christ that they that are led by the Spirit of God are the Sons and Daughters of God! Just because it looks like what you are doing is right, does not mean it is right.
“For, howbeit when He, the Spirit of Truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, [that] shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come,” (John 16:13).
The LORD is warning many of you to continue to keep your eyes stayed on Him in this season, because many of you, instead of acknowledging God, are beginning to look to man as your guide and instead of being under the right shepherd you have begun to follow a wolf in sheep’s clothing!
~ Apostle Geraldine Fisher
Apostle Geraldine Fisher has a World-Wide-Social Media Net-Work Ministry. As a Missionary, God moved her into the Office of a Prophet, revealing to her the qualities of a True prophet, humility, humiliation, loving others, interceding in prayer, as she keeps her own life clean to accurately hear from God. Since hearing the audible voice of God calling her to ministry, she’s been called to intercede and pray for others in ministry as God speaks, instructs, directs and gives prophetic words for her to give to others. God promised He would bring her to sit and to learn before great men, all of which He did!
I like to read your writings – they are a blessing. But I thought I should share my own experience. For the first 35 years of my walk with God, He told me, “Submit and obey your husband!” – which I did, and for which I am grateful in how He changed me. However, in the early 2000’s, He told me, “Now that you don’t have anymore rebellion, do not let your husband intimidate you anymore.” I realized that it was at this point that I was experiencing “In Christ there is neither male nor female.”
