Most of My church in the west suffers much disrespect and well deserved ridicule, because it talks faith without works. They speak as if they know what persecution is. They act as if they have endured tests and trials. They have running water, flush toilets, electricity, air conditioning, heat, and electricity, for which I never get a thank you. They have furniture, cooking utensils, showers, sidewalks, and cars and not one but two or three per household, and gasoline under $6.00 a gallon. They have several pairs of shoes, for each family member, closets full of clothes, a cell phone for every member of the family, and boxes of dusty bibles in the attic. None of these are ever mentioned in a prayer of thanks giving. Yet heaven hears them always murmuring and complaining about their tests and trials.

Pastors offer prizes, beautiful facilities, the best performers possible, using cutting edge technology, to entice believers, to come together to worship Me. They beg, and plead, threaten, and intimidate but to no avail. They time the services to the minute, hoping not to upset the carnal believers schedule. Then they promise not to preach on anything that might make the sinning church goer uncomfortable. Finally in desperation they fill their buildings by changing the truth of My word into a lie, and worship and serve the creature more than the Creator” Romans 1:25 hoping to appease the homosexual, and the government!

However, My church in third world countries, thanks Me for the sunshine, the rain, and the water they walked a mile to get. They thank Me when they are not arrested for possessing a bible. Then they praise Me, when they are arrested for having a bible. They praise Me when the roof is leaking on their dirt floor. No car, no problem, no shoes, no problem, they walk barefooted for miles, to gather together to praise Me. Some have never seen a cell phone or owned a computer, yet they are in constant contact with another world, My kingdom.

Their clothes are clothes that the western believers were throwing away, and they praise Me, even if they are stained or torn. They risk their lives to possess just one page of My word. They devour My word by candlelight for lack of electricity. Some shiver around a wood fire in winter, and others fan themselves with a paper in 110 degree heat, while they are praying for the western believers. They willingly share their food, clothes and and their tiny shacks with those who are worse off!

Here is what is viewed from heaven: The western believers say they have faith, and eastern church has works, but the west is talking faith without works, and the east is displaying their faith by their works! James 2:18 Bottom line: “Faith, if it has no works, is dead, being alone,” James 2:17, and “without faith it is impossible to please My Father: for every westerner talker that comes to Him, must believe that He truly exists, and that He is a rewarder of them when they diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6 Oh! just so you know, I hate murmuring and complaining, and My Father loathes it! Numbers 14:27-33.

This is My declaration to the western church: You say, you are rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; but you do not know that in My eyes, you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:” Revelation 3:17 Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the first works over; or else I will come quickly to the western church, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, unless you repent,” Revelation 2:5.

Before you open your mouth to share your faith, display your faith by your works!

Jim Hammerle (1941-2017) began ministry working with David Wilkerson and Nicky Cruz, founding Teen Challenge Philadelphia. 6 times in the mission field pastoring a mission ship, 15 years with tv and radio, teaching, and preaching.  As a retired businessman, Jim helped to feed widows and orphans in Uganda, helping Muslims find the Jesus who fed them. He became His banker and was privileged to give His money away, wherever He decided, so he also helping to build an orphanage in Haiti and investing in lives in the USA. Totally in love with his Lord, at age 73 he served in ministry at Victory Christian Church and lived every hour listening for his Heavenly Father’s voice.  Jim passed away on May 23, 2017 to be with the LORD.
