Jesus was talking to me today about James 4:6, which says:

“He says: “‘God resists the proud, But gives Grace to the humble.’”

Jesus wants to bless His People, but we have to understand that sometimes we can tie the hands of God when we do things our own way — thus no blessings come!

So, James 4:6 reminds us to be humble and do things God’s way.

Before you make a decision, wait on Jesus — and allow Him to speak to you about what He wants you to do.

And note, it is not difficult to say in your mind, “I am going to do it God’s way!”

Jesus says: “I want My People to do well.

I don’t want any one of you to fall or fail. That is not My Plan for you. I want to see you do well.

But you must follow Me closely.

Allow Me to speak to you and allow Me to guide your decisions.

I AM here with you My People. Know that you can do it. It is not hard. I AM here for you to help you.

I will bless you and honor you, but you must follow Me and do things My way.

It is My way or the highway — as the expression goes.

Now come to Me all who are weary and I will give you rest.

Listen to Me and follow My directions.

Look around — for I AM speaking to you and your heart!”
