Because Of Who HE Is!
Is anything too hard for God?
Jesus calmed a storm for the disciples as they were trying to cross the Sea of Galilee.
They woke Him while He slept in the hold of the boat. He commanded the storm: “Peace, be still!”
When it all stopped, the disciples said, “What manner of man is this, that the winds and the waves obey Him?”
Another time, He sent them ahead before another storm came, but the storm did not stop Him from joining them in the boat. The disciples fought and struggled against the high winds that were stirring up the waves of the sea, while the water was threatening their very existence.
But the feet of Jesus walked on the waves, and He answered them in their cries of distress: “It is I; do not be afraid.”
Jesus, in His own Divine manner, is always above your storm, is always with you in your storm, and always carries you through your storm.
How can He do all these things? Because of Who He Is.
Why do these things still happen? No one has all the answers for the events that take place in our lives.
When they do happen, it could be that trust is a very important matter to Him.
Again; is anything too hard for God?
“Trust in the Lord with all of your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all that you do, and He will direct your path,” Proverbs 3:5-6.
